This to me is the Best I have ever heard Skiffle play .Exciting throughout , Arrangement of the very Best and Superb Orchestration . They were Excellent , they were Sharpe .
I have to agree - what a gem of a performance, everyone bouncing with rhythm and excitement. Also a great recording for its age - this is on my favorites listing.
one of the best pan combinations - a Ken 'Professor' Philmore and Len 'Boogsie' Sharpe composition/arrangement.I always prefer to play 'Boogsie's" arrangements outside of carnival Panorama arrangements.
Born an raise in vistabella Lambie street , whatch this band grew up an destroy pan round de neck , became a big band conventional an now they are going to destroy panorama no more hiding it’s over with skiffle for life .
Wow, never heard this. A fine arrangement in its own right and very well performed. Boogsie is one of the world's top musical geniuses. I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Professor's version. To me, it is one of the greatest Panorama compositions ever. I particularly like how Professor's arrangement builds excitement as it transitions into each section. Sections aren't always repeated exactly the same way. Losing by 1/2 a point was ridiculous. Professor's arrangement compared to Jit Samaroo's arrangement was like comparing the Buddy Rich Big Band from 1968 to J.S. Bach, both fine but not the same thing. One is about impact and excitement, the other about intricate voice leading and counterpoint.
I think it was "Leason Jacobs" from Arima was the drummer at that time if I'm not mistaken!!! And one of the best if not the best drummer to past through S.B and one of Trinidad best local drummer up till today...
This is GOLD🥇🌟💯

I am amazed at: the lightening speed which these players demonstrate in their rendition. Just awesome.

This band really took them by storm a lively and exciting rendition. Reccomended to make ethel or even a paralysed man move . Sweetness for so .
Boogsie is bad to the bone VIRTUOSO nice
The necessary precautions should be taken for this here is a Major Storm , a category 5 Storm , the most powerful there is .
Amazing! I was actually there!! Big Up!
Same here. Good times!
