This first aired as a Disney Channel Original Movie on February 14, 2002, but Disney later sold off DiC Entertainment, including the rights to this movie. Because of that, as well as accusations of a "hidden Mickey" in the original opening scene, the opening was changed to a montage in later home video releases.
Years man...I looked for this, tried SO HARD to remember the name of this movie and finally 9 years later I've found it...The Archies in Jugland. Boss, you're a god among insects. Thank You!
My aunt who is sadly no longer with my family introduced me to Archie comics. She had a bag full of them and let me have them all. After I read them all, I was an instant fan :)
My family owns a lot of the comics. I loved reading them especially knowing that me and my two sisters were named after the characters. Sabrina, Betty, and Veronica. :)
Character designs, voice actors (along with Andrew Rannells), this looks very familiar. Oh wait, that's right... The Archies in "Jugman" does have the exact same character designs, crew and voice cast as Archie's Weird Mysteries. As far as I'm concerned, this film is based on Archie's Weird Mysteries.
maaaaaaaaan this brings back childhood memories when me and my sisters used to buy and read all the Archies comic books even in the book fair in our school we always had to buy Archies comic book.........i loved and still love Archie comics
Oh my god, childhood memories. I watch this as a kid and finally found it on youtube. THANK YOU. Tell me, is this from cartoon network or nickelodeon or something because I had three channels that I loved to watch as a kid. Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and Disney. :)
I downloaded this from limewire a LONG time ago and it took quite a while because the download speed was really slow, but i stuck with it because I was (almost) obsessed with Archie Comics at the time.
@ Eric Lehman - I think Archie, Betty, Veronica, and Jughead are all voiced by the same actors while the others like Reggie and Milton and possibly others are by different actors.
Hi, can I ask which specific DVD edition this is sourced from? (As in, which company released the DVD?) I'm noticing that this version includes the original Movie Toon intro sequence for the film (at 00:24-00:50), and it varies a lot whether these intros are included or edited out on DVD releases of the DiC Movie Toons. So would be interesting to know which exact DVD edition this is from. :)
@SARASARAMAYMAY ....umm since this came out.....but i guess she specially dies it for the movie vus in the normal things (show and comics) her hair is BLACK!!!!
I'm so glad to find this online. Grew up reading Archie comics 😃

jug head and Archie are my to favourite characters of the comics because they both remind me of my self i'm clumsy I like the ladies and like to eat
2:19 pause and look at jughead's face 😂
Veronica should have been the one to get a trip to the principal's office and detention instead of poor Jughead!
