President Magufuli is on record complaining about the terms of the contract that was to guide the construction of the port. His specific words were 'masharti mengi ya ajabu" which translates to 'many strange conditions of the contract'

Well, the Professor has talked about history which has got nothing to do helping Tanzanians in getting rid of poverty through trade with China, they are many products from China that are coming to Tanzania but their price is not friendly to an extent some [Tanzanians) are going to the neighbouring countries to buy them, things like clothes, vehicles instead of selling them to landlocked countries. This is not good at all.
