I think that when guildedguy sealed bog in his hands, it became a fear to put back on the gauntlets and accept bog as a part of him, making him "Different" which can tie in to oxob and guildedguy relating to the fact that they've accepted themselves rather than shy away from what happened.
Love how that even though your not steeped in lore a lot of your remarks and analysis and attention to detail was on point on close to the mark. My reactions were near the same, especially when gildedguy used his spin attack.

The explanation is that when GildedGuy Fights Bog, he has PTSD hes scared of losing and stuff, so basically, Oxob and Gilded guy fixed they're own fears
Its a story about Trauma. Oxob had PTSD from his figh with Jade where she blew off both of his hands and Guildedguy from his fight with bog which left him pretty close to deaths door, not to mention of of the mental violation Bog did to him. The entire fight is about them flashing back to their traumatic events and eventually through fighting each other over coming them. Guilded for example was partially unable to put the Gauntlets on both because it hurt but also because he was terrified of remembering his fight with Bog, something the pain in his hands would constantly remind him of. When he put the gauntlets on it was a symbol of him overcoming the trauma with Bog, or at least being willing to confront it.
Oxob originally lost his hands in a crash in a helicopter he had planned to jump from as a stunt. The reason he got emotional when he saw GG there was because he thought he would stand there prideful like he thought Jade did(it was his imagination with the smile).
Also the part where glidedguy puts on the gauntlets is him getting rid of big in his body dispute the pain and the blood was just his wounds reopening and since he has his gauntlets he can go back to full power again.
The reason Obox rolled his eyes and pointed to his scars was because Gildedguys wounds on his hands were healed, there was nothing to see. The pain was mental fear represented by the Bog slime that appeared when he tried slipping the gauntlets on. Then when he finally overcame it and put them on the Bog slime leached away from his mind/head. That's why he left everything behind as he headed to find his Cape and pen( his pen being his creativity and talent) ... he had conquered his lingering fear and was almost starting from the beginning again. That's why when his jealousy( green eyed cowboy) saw Bogs little creature trying to re-enter GG's hands GG crushed it... he was done with fear :)
gildedguys armor is made from gold coins that's why hes called gildedguy and gold is more conductive than skin so the electricity traveled through his armor to the ground without actually touching him
Bog and guildedguy are with eachother mentality If you remember bog attacked gg's mind and now he is trying to get guilded guy killed so he can absorb his body since gg is mentally and physically strong You can see what I mean by body control in a fight where bog and yupi worked together I can give more information to you if you need

Bog is superior is physical strength and regeneration which is why gilded guy would not have won at all if he hadn't allowed bog inside him. Gilded guys key strength is his unwavering will power which helped him survive till sunset. Bog is terrifying and it's no wonder why gilded guy has been affected severely from him. This story was more overcoming trauma and pain to move on. I hope I explained this well, I just wasn't sure if you may have mistaken the subject of the story so i wanted to give some insight respectfully. So sorry if I may seem disrespectful.
to simplify Gildedguy vs Oxob it’s basically 2 bros with PTSD punch it out and surpassing their trauma Gildedguy did lost hope to go forward when fighting Bog and nearly given up result in PTSD everytime he felt the pain from the cut on his hands Oxob feel ashamed of his past actions and his cybernetics he lost both hands,get cybernetics that he never wanted,fought and helplessly need to accept the fact that he came this far because of these enhancements like taking a shortcut to get stronger and get slapped when he lost to Jade who came this far by her wits and training , she who are able to proudly stand tall and tell the world she came this far by herself and Oxob can’t do that not anymore to grind more salt to the pain Oxob need that legs support because he broke both his legs before fighting Jade and result in helplessly need help from enchantments, that’s he hate , again. Gildedguy trauma is more than just nearly give up btw there’s his feeling about digging to deep into his own interests and forget what’s important who’s around him and lost who he is but to explain it all took too much time so that’s all I’ll say.
oxob's discharge punch had no effect on gilded's armor, that also explain why he tried to hide his hands from being hit since that was his weakness point
Well Bog is Chaotic Neutral, he helps whoever he can but his motives are a mystery, so it’s understandable to see why you question Bog But yes, this is basically just overcoming trauma like the rest of the comments are saying

You pointed out some stuff even I missed, and I've watched this like four times lol Also, I usually hate it when people react to videos in a series without seeing the earlier ones, since you miss a lot of context & any throwbacks the animator puts in, but you did a surprisingly good job of figuring out what was going on. Story time. Oxob, after an accident, got experimental prosthetic hands and the ability to produce and conduct electricity. He later got in a fight with jade and lost. Gildedguy, after his fight with Bog, has open scars on his hands and bits of Bog remain in the gauntlets. He makes leather gloves so he has something, but keeps the gauntlets. Because of pride, trauma and pent up frustration, they fight. Oxobs electricity doesn't effect Gildedguy because of the conductive gold armour, but the leather gloves get burnt off. When Oxob gets stuck with lightning, his leg braces break, which is incredibly painful. Gildedguy finally puts on his gold gauntlets and can now redirect all lightning attacks. Oxob sees Gildedguys willingness to continue the fight and sheds his broken braces and, despite the pain they are both in, they go all out. They continue to fight till they are exhausted. When morning comes, Oxob is so tired, he falls asleep, he also can't move because his leg braces are gone. Gildedguy is resting, thinking of his pen. He moves on, he later camps and goes to sleep. The Bog tries to get in, but his wounds have healed and he's unable to get in anymore. There's probably more, but this is what I've got.
OXOB WAS CUT HIS HAND FROM THE DOOR AND EXPLODE THE AIRPLAIN SOMEONE DO IT AND HE GOS TO THE HOSPITAL AND THE GUY EXPLODE THE PLANE AND CONTRCT THE GUY SAYS JUST SI GN HERE WE RE FIXING YOUR HAND AND EXCAPE. THE END BY. OXOB3000000
This sums up the other half of the fight in some anime when to beings are powerful enough they can understand each other with it a single clash of fists that is what I think is going on 🤔. They might be doing that to get past their trauma oxob (with whatever he has) and gilded guy (with bog).🤔🤔🤔
