Always enjoy listening to Roelof's interview. Great insights and yes, there something calm in his communication style that many other in the tech scene don't

It’s a schtick that a lot of VCs have, they play the glib cool headed sociopath while doing deal memos for Sam Bankman Fried

A key point for many investors not traders that Roelof makes is for us we are long term partners in the companies we invest in. Companies share prices go up and down all the time which can cause some investors to make decisions based on fear and losing site of why they invested in a company in the first place versus reason and long term commitment to the companies the believe in. If you have done through research even if you haven't bought at a low valuation never sell at a lose if you are a long term investor and believe in the company, only if the fundamentals have deteriorated for some reason. I have known people who have sold at losses just due to stock price volatility buy and hold if believe in your investment thesis.

He is calm and intelligent, makes me think of Brookfield's Bruce Flatt. Both excellent business visionaries

After the investment memo Sequoia did for Sam RATman Fried, I completely lost respect for their current senior management, including Roelof

A classic shameless narcissist who invested in FTX yet still claims to be honest and trustworthy and shows his face in public…
