    Great to see that Jonathan Roumie is a devout Christian. I heard that those who play Jesus Christ never are the same. I believe that a piece of Christ enters into their heart and they're forever transformed. Jim Caviezal is another living testimony of playing The Christ.

    Thru the pandemic that affected mankind's lives globally, many seems came to hold on to a spiritual hope who is Jesus, who was born 2000 years ago, that we of the present generation, share with the generation of 2000;years ago, that feeling of a deep longing for hope that will deliver us from this social and economic darkness. I think this Chosen movie series serves as tool that somewhat help us to see and comprehend spiritual- socio- economic status thru varying varying lens.

    Super glad to see how Jonathan really doesn’t relay on his own strength and understanding when it comes to acting
    But to God that gives him what he needs
    God is really using him and everyone in the production team to really open people’s eyes to who Jesus really was
    Even in this very dark time specifically
    I’m grateful for this show
    And thankful that the Lord is with all of us

    Yep, French dubbing is really good. They really make an effort to find the perfect voice to match the physique, so much so that foreign actors often have a dedicated French voice actor that will dub all their movies, TV shows. They're really good at it.

    Bravo! Johnathan, how it is so very important to speak the way that you do. Extra Ordinary challenge and highest gift to you that you have been given this part. You are obviously up to it and all will and are changing the world's mind and bringing it into the heart of Christ.
    Thank you for all that you are facing and creating.

    A couple of things really stand out about “The Chosen”. The first thing is how hard they tried to make Christ and the Apostles relatable to us. But isn’t this a twisting of the Scripture, which is to lift us up to become relatable to them, not drag them down to be relatable to us? The second thing I noticed was how much “The Chosen” and the “Book of Mormon” have in common. They both take an event from Scripture and create a narrative to describe what might have happened leading up to that event. It really makes me wonder why so many view, “The Chosen” as wholesome entertainment, but the “Book of Mormon” as dangerous theology. After all, wasn’t this the downfall of the Jews who believed the inaccurate characterization of Christ created by the Pharisee that caused them not to be able to recognize Christ when He came? But our pride tells us, “oh, that will never happen to me”, yet look at how many miss out on all the blessings we’re promised through our observance of the Feasts and Festivals of the Lord (Leviticus 23), because they follow the traditions of men and keep pagan sun god observances like a; sun day Sabbath, x-mas and e-ster. I mean, if “The Chosen” is harmless, then so must “The Book of Mormon”, right? May you be blessed in your pursuit of truth.

    Why would a "Christian" be wearing a skull ring?

      @@balecalduin1993Interesting answer. How does the skull, known in every culture as a symbol of death, come to represent charity?

      @reginapontes5672 Před 2 lety +3

      It's a Momento Mori ring. No meed to get anxious. It means we return to ashes. Memento Mori' which is a Latin term that means “remember you must die.” These rings typically either feature a skull, crossbones or skeletons.

    Shouldn't that be the man who plays Jesus on a tv show?
    Also Catholicism is not Biblical Christianity.

      🤦Catholicism IS a biblical christianity - the Catholic Church complied a canon of the Bible. Then Luther changed it.
