ausage Party is a 2016 adult animated comedy film directed by Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan, written by Kyle Hunter, Ariel Shaffir, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, and based on a story by Rogen, Goldberg and Jonah Hill. A parody of Disney and Pixar films, the film follows an anthropomorphic sausage who lives in a supermarket and discovers the truth about what happens when groceries are purchased. Hey, it's 15K likes. You know what to do
liquor crackers
The fact this absolute fever dream of a movie was animated by the same studio behind Thomas & Friends is wild
That's not just wild, that's insane
WHAT
Wait, really?!?!
Yep, that's right: I researched, and the team that did animations for Thomas & Friends and Sausage Party is called "Nitrogen Studios"
Wait, WHAT? I thought the studio was made specifically for this movie.
What's hilarious to me is that the douche is actually kind of a tragic character because he's the only one who knew his purpose from the beginning and was accepting of it and was denied it.
Damn that’s so sad and true
Not to mention that he lost his own friend, the bag of chips, during that Private Ryan reference scene.
Too bad the writers don't do anything with that and it's just jokes the whole time lmao. There's no nuance here
Dang.
The 0rgy scene is actual body horror, I remember the story of how some 18 year old girl ran out the theater screaming lol
At 18? What a baby.
@@ThinkDontRepeatAScriptI mean, screaming might be a bit over the top but it's uncomfortable and disgusting.
I'm older than her even if not by a lot and this whole movie is just unwatchable and bad, I would have left too if that scene came up given how uncomfortable the movie was the whole time, I wouldn't be surprised if that was the limit/breaking point for most people and I did read even worse things without expecting it that while they bothered me a few days for how disturbing or disgusting they were I soon forgot about them and moved on (even stumbled upon seeing a guy blow his brain with a gun) and weirdly enough this is what would make me uncomfortable and feel like torture to watch, despite seeing and reading worse things.
@@cheese-and-ricemooney7487 As gross and over the top as that scene was, I've seen Fritz the Cat recently as I'm currently watching Ralph Bakshi's films and this scene is incredibly tame in comparison. Mostly because we never actually see any genitalia onscreen, whereas Bakshi shows everything front and center. Plus, they're anthropomorphic food so it doesn't have as much impact for me.
@@cheese-and-ricemooney7487 That’s a weird reaction though. I mean feeling weird or gross is one thing but to freak out like that is beyond the pale.
If that was enough to make an 18 year old girl run away screaming, then she would be catatonic if she ever watched Fritz the Cat.
In memory to all the parents who brought their children in the cinema because they thought it was a kids movie..

That's not how it works
Also not peak😂
Different platform.
The show wasn’t bad.
I remember the story of a theater playing the trailer to this movie in front of Finding Dory on accident and traumatized all the kids.
😦
Yeah I did heard that. I was like 10 when it came out. I remember seeing ad on it on TV and I was so scared that I closed my eyes. I already knew it was rated r.
when assuming “animation is for kids” backfires
I still laugh about knowing, how some moms might have taken their kids to see Sausage Party, because of animated movie 😄
That's wild
My aunt actually took my cousin and invited some of her mom friends to watch the screening of this movie not realizing it was R rated. She was already seated in the theater by the time she realized her grave mistake, so she bit the bullet and just watched the entire movie with my cousin (who was thankfully already an adult)
I’m surprised by the amount of people who didn’t watch the trailer for the movie all the way through.
Also wouldn’t it specifically state that it’s R rated when you buy the ticket?
@@stickthelanding4785 they said they both were adults. The cousin and aunt were both adults.
WOW! I can’t imagine!
this comment is nonsensical. the cousin was an adult afterall.

Gotta imagine what kind of chemicals they gotta be injecting into these hotdogs if they can stay fresh at room temp
Editing out the orgy scene was funnier than the entire movie
Fun Fact: Alan Menken who wrote the songs and composed the score for this movie is a 2 time Oscar winning composer known for films like Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Pocahontas and Beauty And The Beast.
He said he always wanted to do music for an R rated animated movie like this so he was more than happy to work on the film.
For what it's worth, the music is awesome. Good job, dude.

He has bills to pay
Kyle was never the same since the show got canceled
I am actively trying to forget that show ever existed
@@Blue-100 HE DOES😭😭
I'll admit that the firewater dude was actually the best character in the film to me. Even though he's a stereotype, it's mostly for how Bill Hader puts on a voice and he actually got a few chuckles out of me if you can believe it.
Agreed i love firewater so much too he is my favorit character of the Movie too :)
He was one of the least obnoxious hypocritical characters and that's really saying something
Didn't expect to see you here
Also, Bill Hader is just a great voice actor
Bro all of the characters are stereotypes. What do mean even though he's a stereotype?
Because Bill Hader has really good comedic delivery
The way this movie isn't even any raunchier than south park or family guy, and was only notable for being an animated theatrical release lmfao

You absolutely have to without a guestion 100% watch the Dinosaurs sitcom from the 90s

I remember when I first watched that show I kept on calling my dad "Not the momma" for a week.
The other day I slept over my buddy’s house. Me and his dog woke up first next morning, we made omelettes, went downstairs to wake him up, and in the process the remote to his tv must’ve been on his bed and somehow his dog turned on the sausage party show. Alan manken (who did the songs for Aladdin, Hercules and little mermaid) did the main song for this movie.

I love how back when this came out, people were so shocked at how raunchy this was, and now we've got shit like helluvaboss and the boys
Before that we had Drawn Together and South Park. There were kids shows that were way grosser just not explicit. I remember “Megababies” when I was a kid and it was horrendous.
I don't know about The Boys (Never watched it) but Helluva Boss is definitely not this... intense so to speak.
Yes I watched both, the sexual jokes there aren't as explicit or as constant as Sausage Party, Vivzie likes the constant swearing as humor (because of South Park) and while there are sexual jokes or partially shown sex/aftermath of sex it's never so explicit or "disgusting" as the way Sausage Party does their sexual jokes.
At least in my opinion Helluva Boss is definitely less and more tamed than Sausage Party is after watching both.
@@cheese-and-ricemooney7487 and in my opinion I think you're objectively wrong but whatever
