As a Moroccan living in Morocco I can tell you this about your fears:
    1. The attention you’ll get as a foreigner heavily depends on which area you’re in. In modern/affluent parts of the cities you can walk around pretty much comfortably. But in the poorest parts you might get some catcalling, sadly.
    2. Traffic isn’t as crazy you imagine. Yes it’s not the same as in Europe but nothing too crazy.
    3. Taxis have a meter. When you get in you should only pay what’s on the meter.
With that aside you are much welcome in Morocco and I hope you’ll enjoy your stay here.

*No! Even in the poorest Arias, tourists don't get catcalling at all , you are wrong maybe for Moroccans sometimes in poorest arias and in every country is the same thing. It's not true for foreigners plus she gonna get it in her head and start to get parnoid when she gets in a popular aria. even if it's true you shouldn't say that, which is not true at aaaall. It's "almost" does not happen, catcalling foreigners especially the ones that are abvious they are*

*There's a slight different to Europe not a big difference, the one that is heactic and not easy is casablanca sometimes. And the north has the better traficc*

I had the opposite experience with catcalling in the cities. Poor areas usually had people who were more respectful than wealthier and especially touristy areas.
Villages were always more respectful and I never got catcalled in a village. Unfortunately, Moroccan men are extremely delusional to how prevalent street harassment is in Morocco. I’m sure they are friends with many men who do it but they pay it no mind. There’s always a Moroccan man when the topic is brought up who says “We never harass women!!! It’s all lies!” My husband thought it was all lies too until his mother corrected him.

I’m currently conducting research ✍️ on the topic of «Language Learning in Migration» 🌍. I would greatly appreciate it if you’d be willing to participate in a video interview with me. This would assist me in completing my thesis, and it will only take about 15 minutes of your time. As a bonus, I’ll offer you a free consultation about learning Arabic (specifically the Moroccan one)🤓.

We must understand the Islamic religion correctly in order to pass the (worldly) test!! God said (and I did not create the jinn and men except to worship them) meaning God who said that the end of our creation is worship... But he also said (and do not forget your share of the world) meaning man does not relate to the world because it is from its name is despicable and transient, and as the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him said He is (despicable) because a person must buy the Hereafter and sell the world because it is not a house of reward or comfort..The world is a house of affliction and testing from God.. The righteous dinar, may God be pleased with him, used to rise at night and fast during the day, and he was always among his servants, God bless. !! Do you know what he said to her!? He told her, "Let me learn a little, so that I may rest for a long time.... People must appreciate it right in the end. This is his fate and he determines it by his actions... People say life is tired and work and they are surprised!! By God??!! The world was not created for us to rest in the world, God created it so that we worship and work and toil in it so that God sees who deserves heaven and who deserves fire... and their deeds that determine.... We were not created for this..we were created for one reason, which is to worship God.

*Plz when you don't know something don't talk about it! Arabs themselves they say Morocco is the best for muslims and for not muslims too. In Morocco we have freedom to an extent thank God and we are conservative also. We are not Tunisia where alot of people got away from islam and they eat in the public in Ramadan without feeling ashame for example or Turkey and we are not saudi or iran we are in the middle. In Morocco we are the number 2 in terms of the number of mosques in the arab world after saudi arabia, we have the first and most people who memorise Quran and wins competitions. Africans and peoples from outside the continent and country comes to study to be Imams. We played a big part in keeping islam in north africa from spanish and portugues we spread it more in africa. Moroccans are very hold up in their tradition thus the celebration for each events in islam either ramadan or eid kabir or eid sghir... You don't Morocco don't talk about Morocco..*

You are comming to Morocco not some other country, when you hear Arabs you get some steriotypes, we know, they are not the same. of course you gonna be able to walk around freely and feel normal and confortable. do you think we don't have pretty girls who walks alone, everything about your perception gonna change when you come. The traficc depends. Casablanca it's hard but for example Rabat or Marrakech it's normal. but easier mayber in the north like Tanger and small cities. Moroccans are very open minded we have everything we are used to tourists and foreigners, we have beautiful good looking people too ..... We don’t have these ideas because we hear “Arabs” we have these ideas because they are true. I’ve heard it about European countries as well so don’t pretend it’s all just racism.

@@Kate-ct9ys *i'm speaking about tourists. My Moroccan friends! W t f k! Who talked about Moroccan girls. That's universall. I said in Morocco to catcall tourists it's not that common. i've never seen in real life a tourist who get catcall at aaall. Doesn't happen! that's impossible in every country, Morocco comparring it to other countries or by hearing her being afraid to that extent someone who doesn't knwo morocco gonna say wooow! and yes we know all the steriotypes that u guys have about arabs and africans, muslims, people are brainwashed there and what they think of when they hear these words. this video and her being afraid is the translation of that, and yes that means you're being prejeduce to some extent and ignorant her not you. Now you said Marakkech, Marakkech is a heactic city, people do approach tourists alot, sometimes they might catcall sometimes they might try to be nice sometimes they might try to sell something, and in every city in Morocco it might happen, but Tanger or Tetouan or Rabat or Agadir.... Every city is different and they are not like Marakech, walk in Tanger for 15 minute and in New york 15 minute and compare them. In Morocco in general we don't catcall tourists like as it was painted in her mind neither that it happens more than europian countries or america for example. Plus that's very disrespectful to be concern with, like she's coming to (i don't wanna give examples) but that's very disrespectful.*
