God only knows what will happen to them in HellDive difficulty automations.
Oof, Helldive with light-penetration weapons.. An interesting initiation, they did better than I thought they would. :) If at least one of them had unlocked Impact Nades or a Grenade Launcher as newbie-ish level weapons, it would have helped keep those bile spewers in check.
Honestly, helldive with bugs is like a medium/high difficulty mission with robots.

@@cptncutleg Autocannon is mathematically far superior. Pretty much a direct upgrade over AMR. Not really something that's debatable or subjective.

This reminds me of the time I dropped into a random mission, killed three bile titans and proceeded to deathless the rest of the mission (I think it was fuel and generator left on an icbm) while the rest of the team cycled through each of their turns at a minute of trying not to die. They were two level 8-14 with their level 30 friend who brought them there.

i didn't even know it was possible to join higher difficulties without first completing an operation on the previous difficulty!
It normally isn't. But if the host has played on the previous difficulty, then all the other helldivers in the squad can ride along, and they get credit.
Lvl 80 Helldiver here: did this already a few times just for fun (open a diff 2-3 lobby, ask if they wanna do a helldive) with some nice recruts from lvl3-10, and somehow we really made some missions it was brutal and they died a lot but also learned a lot and got a shitload of samples XD
