I get why they revealed it early since they had to say that they were making it a sequel instead of dlc but idk if having a demo at E3 since that implied it was some what close to release.

It's almost 5 years old, but it literally just got picked back up by the devs, and a mod expansion is actually being brought on as official content. What's already there is way past good too. Not hollow knight good really, but much in its own way.
Rain World is honestly such a beautiful game. From the art, to the music, to even further beyond. I've become hooked on Rain World, honestly best game I've ever bought.

I like ori too but I think my experience got destroy with audio bug that just make my ears disappears and the fact that I just break my game by going at the end with 30 min of play and got stuck there

hollowknight took around 4 years and some rumor says that silk song will be twice as huge as hollow knight it wont be acurate but lets see here 4x2 yep we still have to wait 5 more years until silksong

Super metroid and metroid fusion are great. Metroid prime is the best and dread is good. Ori is beautiful but doesnt hold a candle to hollowknight. Other great metroidvanias to check out: Blasphemous, castlevania: symphony of the night, guacamelee (especially if you have a co-op partner that's where it gets really fun)
Honestly I’d say ori’s a little bit better than hollow knight, mostly because it doesn’t have a story that exhausts and stretches itself out way too much but that’s just my stupid opinion
@@rabidhog4912 thats fine but youre wrong. Imo the story of ori is simple yes but entirely heavy-handed. The story of hollowknight is much more subtle in the background. The world of hollownest invites you in to unlock its mysteries if you so choose, it doesnt hold your hand and slow your play down to explain why youre chasing down a tree spirit that was stolen by an evil owl to restore the forest. A game need not be judged strictly on its narrative if the it can stand alone on the atmosphere, gameplay, and experience (case in point: classic Doom, super metroid, castlevania sotn, etc etc.)

@@rabidhog4912 i would argue that Hollowknight is such a beautifully designed game that you dont need to. Hollownest is clearly in danger, you need to defeat 3 dreamers to open the black egg, which is the source of this clearly spreading infection, once you do that, you can fight the hollow knight and take his place. If you put in a little more elbow grease, you can discover that you and the hollow knight were children of the pale king made specifically TO hold the radiance, you can discover that hornet was also a child of the pale king given to one of the dreamers in exchange for her service in locking away the radiance, and you can discover that you need a void soul to put away the radience once and for all. All of this narrative happens in basically 4 places on the map. The game invites you to find these secrets but doesnt have to hold your hand through them. If i wanted to read a narrative story, there are many books that i could check out from my local library that i wouldnt have to virtually walk through to get the point

But what if Silksong is just as big as HK’s 112% but it’s just the base 100% for the game. Maybe they want some polished DLC on the back up just in case these hungry fans tear the game apart when it drops. But I do feel about at least more updates. Would be nice if something dropped tomorrow during the Nintendo event.
The only reason it wasn't DLC is because Hornets size and mechanics did not match with the HW world, so they decided to make a whole game for it....not a good idea imo but we'll see.
No I think that was just at the beginning, now they’re making a whole new game so there’s more content. And they’ve been working on it for the last two years so it’s probably gonna be really good.
