Didn't want to make the intro too long, so I'll type some additional thoughts here.
Damage wise, S3 was clearly the better set in raid, due to being able to do burst in a much shorter window (i.e. Igira spears, Tindral roots, Fyrakk P2 adds etc.). Single target was tuned pretty well too. Main problem for me, was that S3 was simply not fun to play in my opinion, and I did not want to play another season with S3 set - I know there's a lot of people who disagree, which is why there were so many arguments during(and after) voting.
S2 and S3 are very different playstyles, so I can 100% understand why there was such a big split in the Warrior community.
I had a lot of fun playing S2 Fury, and that's why I voted for that. That's what the voting was for - to pick the playstyle you enjoyed the most, and Blizzard said they would tune accordingly. This is something they failed at first for S2 Fury, but now that it got buffed, I really don't think it's as bad people make it out to be.
I do feel bad for the people who genuinely enjoyed the S3 playstyle, and don't like S2. Most of the arguments I see though, are just based on damage, and not playstyle. We were supposed to vote for the playstyle we liked the most. I cannot stress this enough - nobody voted for Fury to be undertuned. I simply liked this playstyle the most.
Might edit and add more thoughts to this comment as I go, but that's my take!
blizzard should give 3 NPC each with different tier sets from all the dragonflight season... because people choose those worst tier sets because pve raiding.... and it afected the fun in pvp and M+
fury tier set was the best set ever came across in this game so far, arms tier 3 was the best for any damage wise, AoE ,single or pvp... people didnt need to play execute builds. the problem was EXECUTE multipliers ARE TO WEAK. we have 6 talents to buff execute damage here and there, still mortal strike hit harder than execute... the warrior class NEEDS A HUGE REWORK AND ITS TIME TO GET A REWORK right now before the new expansion, this class is super weak in many aspects of the game pvp and pve wise.... Warrior dont give any helpful support so it should always be the best melee dps in the game because of the lack of supportive abilitys or helpful abilitys....
I feel like I just suck at Arm's. I never come near the numbers I see other Warriors do. And I feel like I am close enough in my rotation that I should do better. But I honestly never vibed with the spec. So I think this will be my last expac playing Warrior. Mostly because I don't enjoy Arms and I find other classes hero talents allot more engaging than warriors. As always you are the goat my dude ty for the vids.
damage overall being equal, regardless of gameplay, i would still prefer s3 fury because of 3 things : Burst damage, execute phase damage and higher survivability.
issue with what you're saying is trusting blizz balancing, we have been playing this game long enough to know blizz well enough to be sure that s3 was gonna be the choice for whoever wanted to raid as fury. im glad m+ players got what they wanted and are now happily playing arms
@@Soulessdeeds arms can be a bit hard to play close to perfection in my experience. mistakes can cost you greatly and there are a lot of small plays that add up with target swapping for executes, sweeping strikes and bs usage, etc. dont be too hard on yourself bud, see ya next xpac glhf. i tend to stick to fury cause when i play fury i get better results even when fury is weaker lol
I actually think the extended intro was not something to apologise for but instead lean into. It's quite nice to hear the thoughtprocess behind the plays. Definitely appreciated.

They really need to increase warrior melee range. After playing pally for 2 expansions, it feels horrible having to be in their ass to do damage >
Found the same thing. Starting playing Ret, and the amount of times a mob does a ground slam or aoe ability, as warrior you need to run out...while Ret you just back up 2-3 steps and keep damage going. It's insane how much of a difference it makes.
Unfortunately this won't happen anytime in the near future. Blizzard are currently removing all range inscreases for melee specs in new expansion (Rogues, Ferals for example will no longer have increased range) with ret the only outlier at the moment.
TOTALLY agree. We have the biggest knives and yet have the shortest range, it is a nonesense xD And outside of this joke wich is also a bit true, i can't count the amount of time i see other melee just dps as they wish and i need to stand outside of range to survive or deal with mechanics, like mythic Nimue... it is not that easy to soak, avoid lanes AND remain in melee range... just 3m range would be enough i think, and badly needed for a class and spec that deeply needs uptime as fury...

This sounds like an awful idea since warriors have infinitely more mobility than ret paladins who dont even have a way to negate knock back effects. At that point it becomes unfair, and you might as well just give every spec increased melee range

Love you reiterating your comments on Fury winning the long game and people panicking because don't pop off in 1 pull with all their CDs. I have been trying to explain this to people around me for years regarding anger management Fury...Just keep going and you'll be up there at the end! 💪
I also have no idea how people prefer S3 gameplay over this season. Onslaught and Ravager are insanely fun and smooth to use. I do love Odyns Fury as an ability, I just think Blizzard have struggled to find a true place for it.

Been playin ret since the rework, but kinda miss my warrior. The only thing that keeps me form playing is that stupid legendary axe that i still can't get after 12 hc kills on my paladin.

Just wondering if you’ve thought of using trufigcd or whatever the addon is called that shows what abilities you are using to kind of show off your rotation in different situations. I think it would be a nice touch because I’m trying to get better at warrior and it’s nice to watch what the top tier warriors do in different encounters.

Crit just casually carrying the entire key on his back. This would have been a big depleto if you weren't there!
All warrior does is damage, that's why no one takes them. Ret is better in every single way

@@reviewthereviewer7034 Idk the tendency doesn't show this anymore. Warrior is coming up and up the more we progress every week. Can deal with most afflixes too. Good warrs already shitting u in dps. It takes 20 times more brain to be a good warrior than to be a good paladin, etc. idk bro ur just a salty m+ kid, rated 1500 in arena since a decade. Can already tell u have no friends and achieved nothing in this game so far u wouldn't behave like this

When switching specs do you have different gear or do you just rock the same gear and maybe switch trinkets?
Same gear pretty much. My crafted items are optimised for Arms but I can still make a decent Fury set by just changing a ring, weapon runes, gems, ominous buff and food.
Lets just be honest Blizzard is not going to fully nerf VDH mass pulls so they should just make Fury Warrior uncapped aoe :)

The fact that Ashkandur did more damage to Deios than Fyr'alath did is wild to me. Some legendary lol.
Didn't actually notice how much Ashkandur did there - that's abnormally high haha. I've actually got a Details script to split the Mark and Rage of Fyr'alath though, so combine the two and it's ahead of Ashkandur again.
@Critcake Well yeah with the on use but remember too, the boss isn't a humanoid so Ashkandur would've done more damage had it been a humanoid lol. Ashlandur is ridiculously good. That's right on humanoids Ashkandurs effect does double so it would've been way ahead lol, but I get that Fyr'alath is still the same against everyone and if I'm not mistaken there isn't that many humanoid bosses this season. Can't remember off the top of my head so the sword would lose a decent amount of value
@@Boss-ot1iy I'm pretty sure Ash should be around 2% of your ST damage. Must have just been really good RNG I think
@Critcake Oh for sure great rng in that situation. Although idk, I had it do 8% at the best it's ever done for me before. It does say low chance but at times it does insane damage. I've never seen it dip low in a prolonged fight on my fury. I just like to point out that it's still good and people who started s3 late (like me) or not at all and are a little upset that they don't have the legendary and probably won't for awhile at least have a decent alternative.
@@Boss-ot1iy ashkand is usually kinda mediocre in keys for overall damage, like critcake says its usually not that good even in single target. its better than a regualr purple but normally not a huge deal

I just don't like raging blow not feeling like a STRONG ability. hitting 500k bloodbath felt REALLY good. Hitting a bunch of 80k raging blows feels REALLY bad. Rampage still feels the same. I do wish Reckless Abandon was still good to take. Both sets are fun. I only prefer s3 bc of my abilities feeling more impactful and less spammy.
Honestly the thing is the less utility the class has the more throughput it should have. There should not be a scenario where somebody has more throughput and utility...

I loved season 3 fury, odyns fury is just such a fun ability and it finally gave fury the burst it so desperately needed for M+, not playing Odyns and rather playing this ADHD build that we had for years isnt fun for me anymore, also really dont like how whirlwind is only an enabler for our mediocre aoe cleave and not something that does any dmg by itself and bloodthirst just hits like a wet noodle and doesnt suit the build at all so i dont understand why this tier set works with bloodthirst but out talent build basicly ignores everything bloodthirst related
still Arms is on last position for M+ 27th...... HAHAHAHAHAAHAH
I just don't like the rotation for ST/Raid. I think the talent tree needed to be adjusted into S4. I'm kind of a new player to wow, but I just think fury warrior has too many abilities to keep up with. Also, it seems that blizzard really gives the shaft to fury warriors. I've never seen fury becoming OP at any point in the past two expansions, unlike druid, monk, rogue, dh, etc. Personally, I think Arms rotation is not fun so I really don't want to switch specs.

Apply illusion to any other weapon, then change back to this sword. Heard this doesnt work with older illusions - didnt test to check if that's true.

I dont like the s2 tier set for fury but I enjoy having CDs for every pack. I love s3 tier set but absolutely hate the cringe annihilator build.. Am I cooked??

Short and simple answer: No.
Arms crit consistency is far too good with S1 tier and Cr1tcake, for whatever reason, drops AoE talents in favor for ST. I understand not wanting to Double BS but taking 1 point into 50% more dmg after BS only loses you 1k ST in favor for much more AoE.
Plus, Fury takes a survivability loss for tieing their BT to their Tier.
HOLD ON... did u just say in 34:40 u can spell reflect the stupid debuff "time sink" (gives u a ticking dot and leaves a puddle after it expires" ??? if so im reporting u for not informing me DIRECTLY lol
Warrior is SO good for these bosses. Time sink deflect is a game changer though - that debuff trucks.

@@lalalala9734 Biggest reflect is probably last boss in Nokhud. You want to taunt and reflect the conductive strike in the last phase. Might actually make a reflect video for S4.

i didnt like the tier that fury has right now when it originally was out so was sort of lame seeing it again so yeah just on that arms right now even after fury buffs but i still seem to keep up with fury but who wants to keep up instead of pumping haha

I don't think that's true. In keys, I'd say Arms is A+ tier due to its sheer damage output and tankyness(assuming you play your defensive kit properly), and the only thing it lacks is utility. I'd say Fury is maybe a solid A-. Fury has seen some play in some of my dungeons this week. I think it's underestimated for sure.
Delusional lol. I'm far from full gear right now (520 ilvl) and slamming 500k overall as arms with ease. It's not busted, but it's easily A tier.
i understand what ur saying, but i would 100% still say that fury is in the absolute worst spot it ever has been in THIS expansion, even that being said i do think it's not too terrible but still in some need of buffs. but personally i would only say it needs buffs to it it's tier set. everything else feels fine.

Okay, it is just crazy to say that if more people played fury it would have been better, like, it feels like dog shit that is why nobody is playing it. With the same fking gear, arms are out-doing fury in any manner. The spec is dog shit at the moment, just endless spamming and no dps to justify for it

I have nothing against Arms being OP in raid. I'm enjoying it being this strong, and I'm just stating facts. Arms also has been pretty good every season I think, often due to getting buffed later in the patch. Damage wise, Arms has had a pretty good expansion.
Season 1 I remember Arms being in a bad state until the reworks mid season and it became 1 of the top specs for both raid and m+. I don't agree that it was shit all expansion
A bad geared paladin do same dps like geared warrior so.... Top geared pala vs too geared warrior ... Pala would do stronger dps+ their utility😮 not fair is it.
