Wow
I agree. Suddenly at her age, 'Like a Virgin' takes on a whole other perspective. Likewise, Hall & Oates are presumably in the Menopause phase of their career ('tell me it isn't so"). 🙏
Woke up this morning and this song was playing in my head...it's 2024....I'm 56 and used to love this song in 1986 the yr I graduated 🎉
I'm 59 and still love this song, along with all their other songs.

Growing up in El Salvador during the 80s was a magical time despite growing up during war. I do remember my dad playing Radio Laser and Stereo Club Friday nights and listening to this song in order to distract us from what was going on outside. Music from the 80s really takes you somewhere else
I hope these two can resolve their legal and personal issues between themselves. How anyone can let a 50+ year partner and friendship just go down the tubes is beyond me.
Damn you ain't lyin'
This longer version with the Saxophone solo still rocks after 40 years.
YESSSSSS❤
Yes for sure and Obe on One is the ultimate love song
That intro is so cool 😎
Huge H& O fan. And this is Ultimate facts.
Mr. C..can kill on sax 🎷🎷🎷🎷
Picture this... Being 13 years old, waking up to this song blasting in the back seat of your mom's car, it's jet black outside, traveling home in the middle of the night from Indio, CA through the desert on a two lane, lonesome, dark highway. That's where my mind takes me every time I hear this song. Music is like looking through a photo album for me. Brings back vivid memories. And something about hearing a song while you are sleeping and then waking up to it gives it a dreamy feeling everytime I hear it.
I love the build up it starts like your jumping over little pebbles in a pond.Later in the song it makes you feel like you could be jumping mountains.
素晴らしいです😊
Cool! I can feel your feeling for this song! I'm 42, but I will always be 25ish inside! And, at least there are a few in the later generations who agree with me and others here, about this song/ say it isn't so! No pun intended 😉😉😉. Thanks for keeping the spirit of this song alive in your generation!! Past it on to the next generation........later!
How about traveling through a portal back in time... Just like looking through one of those kaleidoscopes we got at Christmas as kids. 🤔🙏

So much respect for these guys. Daryl in particular. They didn't let the industry corrupt them, didn't allow the industry to direct them an most importantly, didn't let the industry separate them. The magic doesn't work unless it's the duo.

It was a Golden Age. Took a decade or two to realize it. Never thought music like this would be rarely made or heard, but it happened. One thing about Golden Ages...they end.
I used to play this song every time I went fishing upstate in Pennsylvania in the fall of 1984. Played it as I went through the Lehigh Tunnel (which became a talisman of sorts) on the Northeast Extension of the PA Turnpike and then after I had stopped for coffee at the Time Mart in Millville, PA, about 17 miles south of my destination. Every time I hear "Say It Isn't So" I can visualize this video and recall elements of those fishing trips of mine thirty-three years ago.

Daryl's voice is addicting!! Once I start listening I can't stop!! Always loved these guys!! My youth in 2 words Hall & Oates!!!
These types of songs take me back when this world was a much simpler and much better times!! # 80's&90's ruled!
You should have been alive in the 70s!!! Hall and Oates were a 70s band.
Shane Greenwood...Yep! Those were definitely better times!
@olemissfan91 I was alive during the Cold War. Aside from the thought of nuclear warfare, the world was actually a more stable place. Which is why I think we need another cold war.
Yes your absolutely right when times were normal much better time to live in 🇬🇧
70s and 80s please.
Los 80's estuvieron muy avanzados en su tiempo le pese a quien le pese y éstos jamás volverán....aprendan sin soberbia de éstos 80's...
Getting up half sleepy sitting in the chair getting my hair done for school.... Aww the memories I love Hall & Oats. RIP Mama and Daddy I love you 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
Takes me back to my high school days and Friday Night Videos, because I didn't have cable!!! The 80's were the best times of my life......I sure miss those days 😢😢
YES!!! Friday Night Videos. Part of my Friday ritual when I was too young to "go out" unless I was sleeping over at a friend's house. And even then we most likely had FNVs on.
My mom LOVED these guys, great music from an awesome childhood in the 80s!
Shanda Renee mama loved them too.She passed away in 1984,at their height.Turned me on,to them.they came to town, missed them.Older we are!

Hey there! How are you today? It’s nice to meet you on here.
what a pretty and very charming woman ,hello my darling ??
On a February night in 1984, after seeing the CNY parade in San Francisco Chinatown, I sat with my girlfriend in my ‘65 Mustang overlooking the City on Inspiration Point in the Presidio. We shared our first kiss. This track played on the radio in the background. Even after forty years I’ll never forget this memory.
