Ok yall I don’t think she’s actually using a filter. For those of you who have had no skin improvements from threading, or even mass breakouts because of it, it’s due to open pores. After threading, your pores are open and can be filled with dirt and trigger breakouts,so it’s important to wash your face before and after. Threading can in fact improve skin by promoting blood circulation in the skin. Another way it can help is because from person to person, some may get acne from shaving their face or any other techniques, so this method allows them to be acne free. Obviously, the outcomes of threading can vary from person to person, but that doesn’t mean we drag someone down because they’ve obtained results from a method that you may have not found results from.

It also removes some layers of dead skin, it exfoliates. If you’ve gotten your eyebrows threaded it gets red from hair being removed and skin as well. So over time, I can see what she means. I’m sure she also has a routine as well as this, so I wouldn’t write it off exactly
This is not for anyone with sensitive skin. Please don't do it if you have sensitive skin. I used to get my upper lip professionally threaded but every time I did it gave me tiny bumps that were not acne just water filled bumps that would last for a week or more. I tried different ways to prevent that but nothing worked so I just stopped threading all together, I just shave off the upper lip hair now but not with an actual razor, a tiny electronic one that looks like a lipstick. Instead just use a mild chemical exfoliation method that works for you. It will take time but damn it works.
Can relate to this soo much! I faced this issue too everytime I went to get my upper lip and eyebrows threaded. These small hive like bumps used to appear on my skin and it would burn so much for the next couple of days. In the end I had to switch to a facial razor.

That’s true, I’ve seen my moms skin thin out over the years because of threading and waxing and I only shave that too I don’t shave my whole face cause it’s sensitive. But threading is a big no no
@@RockinRoyaltyx3 Honestly, I had no idea. But in the reality of it, it just seems nagative and unessasary and that is why I said something. No hate :)
For those who think they will get pimples after this: threading is like exfoliating your face so you have to give it the same care that you would give after exfoliating. Use sunscreen and properly moisture your face, avoid using makeup right after you thread.
I don't wear makeup and wash my face/ moisture. It never fails I get pimples and redness near my brows every single time. I literally use alcohol wipes on my brows to try and kill the bacteria so a pimple doesn't form and it works most of the time
With those with sensitive skin, this will not work because it will leave your skin more exposed because the hair will collect some of the dirt but now since you have no hair on your face, it will go in your skin.

I did this once with a professional and got an allergic reaction. It took 2 months to complete recover, it was an expensive treatment, and my dermatologist got really mad lol

I used to do it only on my eyebrows and the results were amazing, but my eyebrows always got itchy. After doing my whole face, my whole face got covered in bumps, redness and itched unstoppably (I waited a week before going to the doctor after they didn't go away)
@ i’m sorry that happened to you but I’m pretty sure that’s not an allergic reaction. An allergic reaction is a hypersensitive response of the immune system to a substance. Since the thread isn’t really a ‘substance’ you can be allergic to, it was probably an irritation.
Acne is caused by trapped bacteria and oils, hair follicles such as in your face trap oils so by removing the hair as a whole your removing the factor of a lot! Of potential oil being trapped :)

The last time I got my face threaded, I got so many rashes and breakouts on my skin...the nightmare lasted for half a year...the pimples turned to boils....an advice to everyone, 'threading' is NOT a cure for acne, it might worsen the condition or create new problems...please consult a dermatologist and be gentle with your skin
I am so sorry that happened to you. I followed the Keto diet and make acne flared up so badly,a year later am still trying to balance my hormones. Love and light. 💕
Omg please guys don’t do this! I once did this for my college graduation day. My skin had so many tiny little bumps & numerous pimples the very next day. It ruined everything! It took more than a year for my skin to recover completely!
The bumps usually come from a mild irritation. So perhaps the products they used while threading were not suitable for ur skin or there was a hygiene issue! You also are a lot more prone to breakouts the first few times cuz ur removing a lot of hair, but once you do it often, it is genuinely so good!
It happened to me too! I thought it was the salon, till I figured that my skin is thin and hence sensitive to threading/waxing! I just use the eyebrow razor or tweezers for my eyebrows (it doesn't hurt as much as threading and doesn't cause bumps mainly) And eyebrow razor for the face to remove peach fuzz and unwanted hair.
The first time it's kinda normal to get that reaction, it happened to me too but after the third time I've done it the redness got away faster- I think it depends on how sensitive your skin is :0
y’all don’t try this. I’ve had a lot of acne before, especially when I went to threading appt at a very young age. It will irritate and actually cause you to itch so much, making more bumps on your skin. It sucks to deal with. Make sure to talk to a doctor if you have a skin concern before trying something you’re not familiar with!
trust me y'all, once i start to careless about my skin, it's getting clear on their own. i just wash my face, and use moisturizer. and boom, all that years and money i spent to buy serum and shit didn't work out. the key is, care less about your look, drink tons of water, and fix your sleep schedule. trust me, it works. and cheaper tho 😆
Whatever you may say about threading, it will leave a scar. You are still picking at your skin regardless of what you use to get rid of acne (by force).
Threading can actually irritate your face and cause more acne / scars, especially if you have sensitive skin. I used to get my eye brows and forhead threaded, but i got a lot of bumps and acne afterwards, so I stopped.
Y'all cool down she isn't using a filter its her own skin alr, and just bcz u don't have that kind of smooth skin without any acne etc doesn't mean she is using filters.. on the other hand people who are saying that threading is used for removing hair, she clearly just showed u what she did to get that kind of smooth skin without acne and stuff ( the threading thing works for some people but for some it doenst :/ )so if u don't believe her u can scroll no need to stay here saying "sHe iS uSiNg a FiLtEr" or "No tHrEaDiNg iS uSeD fOr ReMoViNg hAiR oNly" 👽
Removing hair from the skin through shaving, threading and waxing WILL make your skin glow and look much more smooth therefore looking brighter and somewhat clearer. However it has no connection to fading acne scars or hyper pigmentation in any way. Niacinimide is one great product for these problems as well as redness and is cheap from great brands like the ordinary or the inkey list. But really, gentle exfoliation 2 times a week, daily cleansing and toning, and a good, light and protective skincare routine suited to your skin type/ condition is all you need to keep skin clear and fade blemishes over time. Threading can also cause more bacteria to get into the skin if not cleaned properly after the process thus causing higher risk of acne. Please don’t try removing hair from your face and become disheartened because it doesn’t look like hers, trust me.. that is not how she removed scarring❤️ ps, your skin is beautiful and pigmentation, acne, scarring etc is all totally natural and normal
Your skin cleared up when you started taking better care of your hair. A lot of teens don't realize that a lot of that scalp oil runs down your face and, based on your bone structure, collects on certain parts of the face. Clean scalp = clear face. Been there.
My friends literally used to called me frog, because my skin had so much bumps and acne and yes I did everything,my parents spend so much money but you know what nothing happened then I started to be less harsh on my skin and I just started to drink alot ,yes alot of water and only sunscreen on my face ,left foundation and all to side no more hard chemicals .and now my skin has changed so much that even my friends become shocked . So if yall are having no result after doing everything on your skin give it a rest and it will heal itself. Don't be hard on your self
Exactly. This. People don't realise threading, shaving, means inducing artificial ways on your skin. Even excess use of over the counter facewash, serums, and toners can irritate the skin, even though they are supposed to be healthy. That's why it's important to completely detox your skin once in a while, without using any chemical skin care.
I feel like threading would last for about 3 years causing your skin sensitivity and wrinkles to go up in the process. You can repeat this forever, but I will never find the time to do that. I haven't had ance because I hardly ever touch my face, I hardly wear make-up (If I do, it’s mainly lip gloss or glitter), have a normal diet (the stuff I eat everyday, it doesn't have to be fruits and vegetables all the time), and I use facial soap (the bars that you find at your store).
Hey don't worry they are using a beauty filter and even then diet can effect things too so depends on what you've been eating and for teenagers it can also be hormonal. But don't let a few pimples let you feel down ok? you're drop dead gorgeous just the way you are 💜 stop being so critical on yourself and look at all your gorgeous features that make you unique and like no one else, don't focus on small things like that
THIS IS BULLCRAP I too am South Asian, and am particularly very hairy even by Indian standards. I used to have a bushy unibrow and an entire forehead full of hair. I'm 16 now so my mom finally let me start threading. And the thing is, I used to have really good skin until now, and the occasional acne was pretty minimal all in all. Ever since I started threading, my forehead has been super bumpy and I've been getting boils and pimples just on the forehead. I never really had an elaborate skincare routine, but I wash my face atleast thrice a day, moisturize too and use sunscreen before stepping out. It's all to blame on the threading- and no I don't do it myself, a beautician does it.
Have you stopped threading? :( Maybe just use tweezers for your eyebrows, a little peach fuzz never harmed anyone. I hope your skin gets better soon. Ik what it's like, so wishing you a speedy recovery.
Washing your face 3 times a day might be a little stripping. Also, what skincare are you using? Threading is a form of exfoliation, so if you’re using certain skincare products, it can really irritate your skin, since it’s sinking a lot later
Threading along with micro blading are amazing for reducing scarring, texture and dead skin along with increasing the appearance of plump and hydrated skin!
i really hope this girl gets hate like she deserves- she made a yt short shaming women over a BREAKUP. she’s the biggest pick me and needs to grow up💀 when did shaming other women be ok
If threading enhanced your complexion means your problem was facial hair not hyperpigmentation. Hyperpigmentation can't go away even after using sunscreen for months damaged skin needs a long time to heal. So far laser treatments are proven to be effective.
I do not believe she threads her face that often, because just like waxing, it will open up the pores. I've been gently shaving my face once a month for the last 15 years, I've got the best skin. People always think I'm 15 years younger than my actual age too. If in doubt, many videos on CZcams about this. Check it out.
For anyone with sensitive skin, if you are wanting to remove hair from your face but not wax threading is a perfect option. I have sensitive skin which ripped off when I was waxing my upper lip area. Threading basically makes it impossible to rip off skin, whilst also allowing you to have accuracy when removing hair at a lower price. I hope this helped ❤️.
Or simply just wash ur face every morning and night with actual products and also use something to moisturise, not to mention have a healthy diet, ofc u can still eat junk but in moderation

It also removes some layers of dead skin, it exfoliates. If you’ve gotten your eyebrows threaded it gets red from hair being removed and skin as well. So over time, I can see what she means. I’m sure she also has a routine as well as this, so I wouldn’t write it off exactly
*currently has potatoes on face* 😭
This is not for anyone with sensitive skin. Please don't do it if you have sensitive skin. I used to get my upper lip professionally threaded but every time I did it gave me tiny bumps that were not acne just water filled bumps that would last for a week or more. I tried different ways to prevent that but nothing worked so I just stopped threading all together, I just shave off the upper lip hair now but not with an actual razor, a tiny electronic one that looks like a lipstick.
Instead just use a mild chemical exfoliation method that works for you. It will take time but damn it works.
Same and also my skin would be so red for at least 3 hours after and it would feel so rough
Can relate to this soo much! I faced this issue too everytime I went to get my upper lip and eyebrows threaded. These small hive like bumps used to appear on my skin and it would burn so much for the next couple of days. In the end I had to switch to a facial razor.
SAME I THOUGHT I WAS JUST ALLERGIC TO THE THREAD LOL
I too had the same experience those bumps were very itchy and irritating. So I also stopped threading my eyebrows and now using razors for that
I have very sensitive skin threading hurts a lot 😐
love that this works for you
but i just wanted to say that my mom has been doing threading since 14 and now she is 37 years old and she has alot wrinkles. threading can cause wrinkles especially when u start threading at a young age. just wanted to share this.
by the way ur skin looks amazing
That’s true, I’ve seen my moms skin thin out over the years because of threading and waxing and I only shave that too I don’t shave my whole face cause it’s sensitive. But threading is a big no no
I completely agree
Threading anywhere on my face other than my eyebrows gives me even more spots, so...
how to achieve this skin:
step 1: use a filter
step 2: blame your ‘perfect skin’ on something irrelevant

Got rid of scars? 😂😂😂 Stop it please. Even micro needling needs several sessions and girlie here removed her acne spots by threading 🥴
i know right, what a clown. plus she’s using a blurring filter for this video. some of her videos we can still see the uneven skin tone.
For those who think they will get pimples after this: threading is like exfoliating your face so you have to give it the same care that you would give after exfoliating. Use sunscreen and properly moisture your face, avoid using makeup right after you thread.
Make sure the skin is clean before and you'll be fine.
Witch hazel after.
@@HillbillyYEEHAA witch hazel is terrible for your skin😂 I say just put some CeraVe moisturizer on after
I don't wear makeup and wash my face/ moisture. It never fails I get pimples and redness near my brows every single time. I literally use alcohol wipes on my brows to try and kill the bacteria so a pimple doesn't form and it works most of the time
Exfoliate isn’t that rough tho... threading can damage or even tear skin
Oh wait, you have to cleanse after plucking hairs out? No wonder I’ve been having pimples on my eyelids lately. 😂
Nobody is jealous of your filter 😂
With those with sensitive skin, this will not work because it will leave your skin more exposed because the hair will collect some of the dirt but now since you have no hair on your face, it will go in your skin.
Speak with a Dr or your dermatologist before doing this. People on the internet use filters most of the time so don't trust everything you see.
Lol, the threading won't do anything, in fact it will most likely do the opposite.
@@globist9527 What does that have to do with my comment? I'm saying to not trust things you see on the internet. If you have scars or acne, talk with your Dr.

Threading ruined my face lol. I went to a beautician salon to get it professionally done only to end up with folliculitis and bumps which took months to fix.
I did this once with a professional and got an allergic reaction. It took 2 months to complete recover, it was an expensive treatment, and my dermatologist got really mad lol
How can you get an allergic reaction to a thread?
It's probably irritation?
@@itsalex8520 It's been 3 years since, so I really don't remember the name, but I vividly remember the medication I had to take for it to go away and for sure it was allergy meds lol I'm just sharing my experience, most people I know have great results with it, I just think it's wise to do a patch test and wait a few days before ruining your face.
I used to do it only on my eyebrows and the results were amazing, but my eyebrows always got itchy. After doing my whole face, my whole face got covered in bumps, redness and itched unstoppably (I waited a week before going to the doctor after they didn't go away)
@@schy9614 That’s what I thought too
@ i’m sorry that happened to you but I’m pretty sure that’s not an allergic reaction. An allergic reaction is a hypersensitive response of the immune system to a substance. Since the thread isn’t really a ‘substance’ you can be allergic to, it was probably an irritation.
Girl I’m jealous of your hair it’s so thick and beautiful
There is absolutely no way that this can completely remove scars
I thought the best skin care was staying hydrated and getting enough sleep 🤣
Not anymore 😂😅
Isn't threading for hair removal? How does it help with acne?
Maybe it improves circulation or exfoliates?
Acne is caused by trapped bacteria and oils, hair follicles such as in your face trap oils so by removing the hair as a whole your removing the factor of a lot! Of potential oil being trapped :)
Exfoilates is my guess. Don't do it. Better to use chemical exfoilators
@@rosygirl28 I agree
I was thinking the same....🤔😲
I have acne and scars so i said to my self how does threading help improve my acne nor scars🤔 after reading the comments some make sense but still believe acne can not be removed by threading and i have scars not HAIR so i will pass on this one😂 I understand indians have facial hair and they need threading but when my face is bold i dont need to scratch my face and do more damage😲 thanks for askinh this q?
The last time I got my face threaded, I got so many rashes and breakouts on my skin...the nightmare lasted for half a year...the pimples turned to boils....an advice to everyone, 'threading' is NOT a cure for acne, it might worsen the condition or create new problems...please consult a dermatologist and be gentle with your skin
I am so sorry that happened to you. I followed the Keto diet and make acne flared up so badly,a year later am still trying to balance my hormones. Love and light. 💕
It also depends on the skin. Some people have super sensitive skin
Omg please guys don’t do this! I once did this for my college graduation day. My skin had so many tiny little bumps & numerous pimples the very next day. It ruined everything! It took more than a year for my skin to recover completely!
Yes i never do that again...after getting skin bumps
I think for eyebrows it’s fine
The first time it's kinda normal to get that reaction, it happened to me too but after the third time I've done it the redness got away faster- I think it depends on how sensitive your skin is :0
I used to have spots and pigmentation now I have a filter lol
Damn your face looks ridiculously smooth
No one's jealous of ur skin girl
Every skin type is different. Please consult a dermatologist for the best skin care routine as per you skin type and keep it as minimal as possible.
I can't be jealous of a filter. Sorry hun
y’all don’t try this. I’ve had a lot of acne before, especially when I went to threading appt at a very young age. It will irritate and actually cause you to itch so much, making more bumps on your skin. It sucks to deal with. Make sure to talk to a doctor if you have a skin concern before trying something you’re not familiar with!
I believe her. Like an exfoliation sensation. My skin used to feel great after threading!
Please don't fool people🙄

trust me y'all, once i start to careless about my skin, it's getting clear on their own. i just wash my face, and use moisturizer. and boom, all that years and money i spent to buy serum and shit didn't work out. the key is, care less about your look, drink tons of water, and fix your sleep schedule. trust me, it works. and cheaper tho 😆

I agree with you but can't ignore my red bumps 😭😭😭
And have good gut health

Whatever you may say about threading, it will leave a scar. You are still picking at your skin regardless of what you use to get rid of acne (by force).
Threading can actually irritate your face and cause more acne / scars, especially if you have sensitive skin.
I used to get my eye brows and forhead threaded, but i got a lot of bumps and acne afterwards, so I stopped.
Her clothes look so smooth
This is the funniest thing I have seen since a long time. I had a good laugh 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Y'all cool down she isn't using a filter its her own skin alr, and just bcz u don't have that kind of smooth skin without any acne etc doesn't mean she is using filters.. on the other hand people who are saying that threading is used for removing hair, she clearly just showed u what she did to get that kind of smooth skin without acne and stuff ( the threading thing works for some people but for some it doenst :/ )so if u don't believe her u can scroll no need to stay here saying "sHe iS uSiNg a FiLtEr" or "No tHrEaDiNg iS uSeD fOr ReMoViNg hAiR oNly" 👽
I believe it. I use to let them do my eyebrows but that crap hurts
DONT! IT causes acne, ingrown hair and scaring!
It literally doesn’t
@@tduxxx4598 yes let's listen to a rando on the Internet and not a dermatologist

Me looking for people who said they're jealous of her skin or hair, cz i only see people complimenting 🙂
Remember, not all skins are the same.
Years ago I use to thread my skin and it helped. I recently started to thread again.
Same
same but it has to do with genetics as well n i feel like personally thats the reason why i have decent skin
God, this is making me feel down just cause I've been getting a lot of acne/pimples. Maybe it's due to stress. Or lack of sleep.
Hey don't worry they are using a beauty filter and even then diet can effect things too so depends on what you've been eating and for teenagers it can also be hormonal.
But don't let a few pimples let you feel down ok? you're drop dead gorgeous just the way you are 💜 stop being so critical on yourself and look at all your gorgeous features that make you unique and like no one else, don't focus on small things like that
The only advice that worked for me were
1(Change pillow covers often and wash them daily
2 dont touch your face too often with your hands
Wyt plp in these comments are so mad about the melanin in our skin protecting it!!!
THIS IS BULLCRAP
I too am South Asian, and am particularly very hairy even by Indian standards.
Try an antifungal shampoo on your face
Threading along with micro blading are amazing for reducing scarring, texture and dead skin along with increasing the appearance of plump and hydrated skin!
@Caite Anders yeah I think they meant to say microneedling

If threading enhanced your complexion means your problem was facial hair not hyperpigmentation. Hyperpigmentation can't go away even after using sunscreen for months damaged skin needs a long time to heal. So far laser treatments are proven to be effective.

I do not believe she threads her face that often, because just like waxing, it will open up the pores.
I've been gently shaving my face once a month for the last 15 years, I've got the best skin. People always think I'm 15 years younger than my actual age too.
