My Eng is not good enough, but Im hope its simple to understand what Im talking about. Today I wanna show you how to download protected VIMEO videos, that integrated into some WEB pages, and protected by privacy from downloading. You can find many guides in the Internet, but as I discovered, no one of them dosent work, because all of them is telling about using Inspect tool, but for Aug 2023 this method dosent working anymore.
DEAR VIEWERS, those of you who are HAVING PROBLEMS with this method or Video Downloader professional DOSENT WORK, Im uploaded ANOTHER ALTERNATIVE GUIDE:

Looks like Video Downloader for Vimeo WAS DELETED from Chrome Extension Store...
So, I find few more extensions that STILL WORKING. Take the links:

Another tip is convert the MP4 audio to WAV with the SAME NAME of the MP4 video. Put the audio and the video at the same directory and just put to play without combine video and audio with an editor software.

I did this. I also found the same number to create the txt file from in "Sources" which is another way that other people show. Either way, there is no "Mp4" in the file at all. Is there another way to find the file?

I'm doing it exactly like you did. I got the chrome extension. I got the video and audio separately. However, in adobe premiere pro, I can't add audio b/c it says compressed file not supported. What I should do here?
Try to convert audio track to WAV before adding to Premier 👍👍👍 I had same issue, and converting to WAV helped me to solve it!

I don't know why this happens, usually the extension finds both aud and vid.. I recommend to try another extensions, maybe one of them can find audio too..

@@qm1s I think this answers the inability of this post, however I can explain further: you see, vimeo is a giant nerd that thinks peoples work is worth protection, so they came up with this: "referer restriction" with this set even the vimeo videos we have links to won't open unless it's powered from a authorized site. the best example is kemono party's (a public web archive for purchased media leaks. basically piracy.) links inable to be opened because of this restriction.

I'm don't expect to receive feedback from creators, wow. But I think you can understand people who trying to save information that they paid for. Its not for pirating. I'm saying in this video something like "if you paid for some content, but have no time to watch it, you can save it for watch later", and that's all. U understand that people can just put a camera in front of monitor and film content in camera. My video just about how to simplify things (downloading instead of filming on camera). If I paid for some information, why I cant save this information for personal use only? I can I think. Because access to connect restricted in time, but sometimes you have not enough time to watch it. And especially not just to watch it, you need to watch and remember information. And learn something from. Not just watch and forget, like TV shows or movies.

exactly what i am trying to do @@qm1s , i have paid for a course and it has 17 videos all hour long i work a job i cant watch it regularly and it has a time limit of 3 months if i dont finish it within 3 months its gone my money wasted i paid it from my savings i cant afford to buy it again and again, and in 1 whole month i could only watch 3-4 an that too i have to watch quite a few times to understand properly . now what option do i have other than to download this video courses that i alreay have paid for! and yet haven't figured out how to still trying most of the ways have failed so far
