Zakouma National Park is a very substantial and important conservation area, remotely located in the southeast of Chad. It's primarily an area of high grasses, acacia forests and seasonal wetlands, home to a full range of wildlife including elephants, lions and buffalos. The reserve contains three simple lodge options, which can only be visited in the company of an experienced safari guide.

That certainly seems to be the case Ethan! Its still very underdeveloped in terms of tourism, but is under the protection of African Parks which certainly helps on the poaching side of things!
