Now that i got to see the tendril barrage devestator in its actual speed it is pretty terrifying at how fast it is seeing as you cant escape it unless you are lucky enough to be in an armored tank that you saw in the game that were basically immune to the damage of it
In the mission "Men Like Gods" 0:01, after the military tell you to return to base and if you waited long enough and receive several threats and still not return, Mercer will say a hilarious dialogue as " B(something), B (something), oh shit that's my codename"
Thanks for the shoutout! Never noticed that the Tendril Devastator works on all APCs. I'm still almost 100% certain that the APCs in that mission alone have more health or are at least more resistant to Hammerfists. Maybe I'm just imagining things, but I do feel that enemy health values change slightly at different points in the story. Like, I can fire a rocket at an APC with all the launcher upgrades and it will get destroyed. Then at some point, there's just a tiny smidge of health left. Hunters also feel tankier in some missions, sometimes even surviving Musclemass enhanced Tendril Devastators.
The mission "Behind The Glass" is the only mission where the hunters have more health than the ones you fight in free roam and the other story missions. On Hard, they take 2 Tendril Barrages to kill and the Critical Pain is surprisingly useless against them on that mission when in general, it would usually one shot them to death. (Unless they do that unbreakable rapid attack where they are kinda invincible for doing that move.)
Imagine that you're playing this game in an online multiplayer mode and everyone just do a devastator attack at the same time... All the infecteds in the city would be gone in only a few seconds...
Something I found out and used to cheat at the game a few times was that getting in a tank without an alert already set and then getting out of it essentially makes the game think it's destroyed.
"switching the disguise to Alex." Just did the same, I still got the static tone. I even got the clear voice in the military disguise so yeah not by switching to Alex's default form, it's just random.
Did you know you can slow the time for devastators even further when destroying bases/hives or consuming people as long as it plays the mini cutscene for those actions right before the cutscene plays just hold down the weapon wheel button
I have a question, it's irrelevant but can the game sequel be made by a different studio? I dont know anything about it all i know is that there's this publishing company and a studio that makes games and im wondering if it's possible to get a sequel because based on what radical entertainment said their workers were halved.
to be fair, radical is owned by activision, so, activision have the licenses on the game, in order to have a sequel, activision must release the license in order to make a sequel.
There is something I found out, although it's not really a glitch or a bug, it's pretty much in the game but I never knew about it. But if you're using the armour power, and you jump into people (no dive bomb or anything, just an ordinary quick jump), you quite literally kill them, they explode into a pile of flesh. You have to jump right on top of them, but thats all you need to do, with the armour active
The thing about killing people with armor by just jumping on top of them can be done exactly the same way with holding any throwable object in Alex's hands, not very rare actually. In fact, I've done that multiple times.
It's nice to see that people still makes video about this game

Alex also says "Ah, confirmed." sometimes.
If in New Game+ and you use viral vision during the Cross boss fight, you will see he is infected.
2:58 This made me laugh harder than I should have
Me 2
Thanks for the shoutout!

I guess.
Imagine some other studio than Activision had grip of PROTOTYPE.
Wow awesome bro
I played this game like 6 times even on hard+ and all platinum events after gold and i didn't know about any of this secrets
Also on the mission "Men Like Gods" you can wait before go the base and commander will remain of the mission twice. Alex will answer)
Ахах, даа, заметил тоже)
The Different NPC spin trick also works with The Body Surf when you launch them. And with the Bio-Bomb Butt Kick in Prototype 2
Something I found out and used to cheat at the game a few times was that getting in a tank without an alert already set and then getting out of it essentially makes the game think it's destroyed.
How exactly is that cheating? I do that on Under The Knife on Hard mode all the time.
great powers mean great responcibilities
Alex responsibilities 7:38
How prototype 2 Alex look like into his face? 7:46
The Rare and Clear Dialogue in Men Like Gods isn't actually Rare, In Fact I got it In the Mission Like 5 Times Just by Switching the Disguise to Alex.

@@DeathCrow- That's weird, maybe it's because I'm playing on the PC port of Prototype.
With Gentek Hazmat my guess is most likely early on the intention was for their visors to be semi transparent hence the modeled head
Wow bro i didnt know some things here for real, im playing this game since 2009 and still doesnt know about something :D
nice video man, keep up the prototype series videos!
Did you know you can slow the time for devastators even further when destroying bases/hives or consuming people as long as it plays the mini cutscene for those actions right before the cutscene plays just hold down the weapon wheel button
do you love that game a lot than the others?
Love these! I'm gonna play this game again now.
you should make funny compilation of prototype that should be funny :p
nice
@DeathCrow what's the OST piece right at the beginning?
czcams.com/video/_zcJCACajUs/video.html > 0:14
Hey deathcrow have you noticed that there's a second city out there but they're covered with shadow in those other city could be from prototype 2
Yes

@@DeathCrow- really? Even holding cars? That's pretty cool, I'm going to try that out now
There's a trophy for destroying 50 helicopters while 'driving' armor, I used musclemass and armor and just cannonballed 50 helicopters
Wow
I'm very happy to see so much [PROTOYPE] content from you I'm definitely subscribing. Keep up the cool vids :D
