Also make sure to grab the weapon/bow/shield mastery nodes, the weapon nodes give stun, speed and crit chance, the bow nodes give headshot damage, speed and crit chance, and the shield ones give block and stun. There are 2 mastery nodes for each type of weapon/shield/bow. For me, I use hammer and seax plus predator bow so thats both seax nodes in raven tree, one hammer in raven and another in bear, and one predator in raven and another in wolf. for your spear build, i think you use hunter bow so thats one spear in raven and another in wolf and both hunter bow nodes in wolf tree.

brush with death is also really good for fighting zealots and doesnt rely on parry because it slows time on a perfect dodge

Adrenaline is a huge deal in this game I have all four upgrades and I'm just around 100 power, but you can do big chunks of damage with that much adrenaline and take on enemies that are a much higher level than you much easier than you could otherwise. And don't wast points on breakfall you can just hit R2 (heavy attack) right before you hit the ground it negates all fall damage no matter the height.

@@atrainn according to other people they patched it. Along with all the farms that people plastered all over youTube. I'm sure they'll eventually fix the game breaking bugs though
Personally I get backstab and brush with death first, then advanced and chain assassination, then the raven tree adrenaline bar, followed by auto loot and missle retrieval, the wolf trees adrenaline bar, last chance healing, grit, followed by the bear trees adrenaline bar, berserkers mettle and heavy dual wield. I’m currently running a mythical great sword that I will soon pair with a dagger. Next skills I will focus on is adrenaline fiend, emergency aim and arrow reinforcement. I’m on my 2nd play through already. The game is damn fun, can’t wait for the remaining bugs to be fixed. I am thoroughly enjoying this game.

Nice video, the only issue I see is wasting points into Breakfall. All fall damage can be negated by either properly timing a Heavy Attack or just simply spamming the key while descending from anything.
EDIT: I'd also recommend going for Brush of Death before filling out the random damage/armor set/life nodes at the end. It makes the game much easier to play for newer players if you learn to dodge properly.
Also, it's odd to be wearing 3 different armor types. Two different types is more understandable but running all three doesn't make a lot of sense. Use the extra points and try to get Brush of Death. You only need 5 points to reach it from the Bear(Red) affinity tree and can be taken right under the Dual Swap major node.

On the one hand, it's nice that You took the trouble to do this tutorial. On the other hand, there are unfortunately no "builds" in this game. You'll get all the skills anyway, the equipment doesn't matter and so on and so on ... ;-)
It matters for low levels, but you are totally right of course. This is almost everything I can do, including to tell you which set and weapons.

i try to get as much light and heavy attack as possible barely use adrenaline just button smash the square attack.. And the melee boost you usually get is just 2 or so not a huge difference then.

Adrenalin is what you need to get. Not stamina.
what about Missile Reversal , Counter Roll, and Brush with Death? Aren't these abilities really OP?
No they are not. They are all very situational and not needed at all. Why do you need a skill to grab a weapon, or press a button before you get hit, just kill these guys, dude. They are really weak abilities. If somebody tells you otherwise he doesnt know much about games and is just hyping useless abilities. The abilities shown in the video are the only ones really needed. Everything you get beyond that does not have a major impact on your gameplay.

Brush with death is really good versus bosses and zealots. In normal combat it's kinda useless cuase you are probably two-shoting everyone. The other two you mentioned are useless. Also, arrow reinforcement is bad, there's plenty of arrows in the world, if you run out of arrows, it's better to upgrade your quiver.
Well in the end you have everything unlocked and there won‘t be any builds needed, unless you aren‘t maxed out... so runes are the only options to make a build in endgame somehow...
And that is exactly why it has a total lack of replay value.
@@T7PDM from what I saw today, you don‘t even need clothes or weapons to beat the game with just 30 power. 😂 Just search „Assassins Creed Valhalla no weapons here on CZcams“... Zealots and also other boss types were beaten on very hard easily with just fists.

Battle ground bolt and missile reversal are so fun to use

@@T7PDM missile reversal smacks any large enemy that throws stuff at you and it deal a fair bit of damage plus the battle ground bolt is just fun and they both do ok damage

Damn .. how much I need your time on this game. Trying to build crit build. But can’t figure out or find decent info about how crit works. Have played games in past where anything over 100% resets the whole chance like 102%=2%, but here !?! Im LVL 137 n managed to hit ~140% crit chance/dmg n didnt crit at all.
You cant find info because you cant make crit builds or any good builds in Valhalla they all deal the same damage. Just play odyssey if you like builds this game has nothing to offer.

Activating the ability costs a point aswell. Make sure you got everything around and have a connecting line for it.

Maybe story wise but Odyssey had the better gear mechanics and combat.
Whenever I get a new skill point I feel so overwhelmed when it come to which skill I want to unlock, which is why I don’t really like this game.

I’m at the mid 200s right now and have 65 to spend but looks like I got all the good ones I wanted already. Does this map open up even more? I don’t see any more fog left.
I cleared all the fog to show you the whole extend, anything I did not pick or showed in this video, is really not worth getting, or at best very situational.You can of course look for more melee range and light damage and always prioritize these over the rather useless evasion, etc... At 400 you will have everything anyway.
For the complete warrior path do you think that the guided arrow skill would work good for that path? I got it unlocked at the moment but I wanted to see if you thought i should keep it or get rid of it
If you like to use a Predator bow, then use it.

I found this before. You can recollect it on anyone with a wealth marker they just carry them again. There is an easy Nickel farm in Lincoln.

@@huntersorce20 If there is a guy dropping fabric, he will always do it. Just go for NPC with wealth markers they have fixed drops.

Builds are pointless as you end up with every skill tree filled anyway lol
you are missing the point. builds are put together to make the playthrough more fun and less of just running around and hacking and slashing everything to death and hoping for the best. Its more for critical thinkers than button mashers.
Sure, it's pointless because you endup with every skill after more than 100h of gameplay. What about all the time before that? Builds are useful for the majority of the game, only in the endgame you endup with everything

For the critical assassination you have to press the button when the animation matches the position on the screen. This gets harder and moves faster the higher the level of your opponents. You can activate auto assassination in the menu to always kill your enemies.
@@T7PDM No, no. I meant Perfect attack skill. It says I have to hit bumper while eivor is taking a swing but I dont really know when.

Yes of course. But you will still deal the same damage after doing it. Welcome to Valhalla. All skills, gear and all those RPG stats are just a scam overlay of an underlying action adventure that you are playing.

You just have to press the heavy attack button instead of the assassination, when you are out of combat.

Over 300 so there is a long way to go. Make sure you grab the most important ones first, like shown in the video.
