It's always great to come across a product that has some thought put into its unboxing. It helps that the product itself it pretty decent too. This is the Rolling Square AirCard, their novel all-in-one answer to Tile, and more recently, Apple's questions. Is this AirTag alternative any good? Well, I already answered that. This paragraph is purely for keywords. It doesn't have to make sense. Enjoy the unboxing!

Thanks for checking out the UnboxN channel! I like to look at unusual and fun products, and most importantly find out what the unboxing experience is like.

Well produced video and great insights! Thank you for making this - very helpful and informative!
Thanks for watching!
isnt the eufy cheaper and does the job done?
What are your thoughts on the products durability. I was thinking about attaching this to my luggage tag instead of an AirTag. But have reservation if it is made out of glass and knowing how luggage handles throw bags has me worried
Oh this isn't made of glass at all, it's a soft plastic front. It's so thin and light that it'd be very hard to break unless you snapped it in half.
@@UnboxNChannel Oh thought it was. Since you mentioned it was made of glass and metal in your video
Rather than comparing it to an Iphone - I would like to know how the aircard
tracking compared to an airtag.
Just so everyone is aware no UWB so you can't locate it via precise finding and apple doesn't support imprecise finding so have to guess where it is and play sound (Bluetooth signal power meter witch Samsung supports for non UWB tags/phones so you get a rough idea that your getting closer or far away)
Also basic understanding that this has nothing to do with gps it's a tag that sends a low power Bluetooth Beacon the other iPhones received and then pass along with the phones gps/WiFi geo location data (approx 10-100 meters)
It’s not gps it’s Bluetooth
It's not? 🫠
@@UnboxNChannelas stated it does not have GPS. It connects to any iPhone it can see by Bluetooth, and that iPhone reports the location via its own GPS to icloud. I've found it to ne very accurate.
That’s good enough for Is and Uk. Everywhere else android is king
It does not use GPS :) It uses bluetooth to connect to nearby strangers' iPhones. Apparently its bluetooth is too weak, hence it does not connect to nearby iPhones frequently enough and thus does not tell apple servers that "I'm here, next to this random iPhone who's GPS coordinates are these; show those coordinates as my location to my owner in the Find My app!"
btw this is exactly how a regular airtag works as well.
Thanks for the explanation! Weirdly though it was with Robin and his iPhone for the entire trip, same as the AirTag. It just wouldn't update as frequently as it should.
great video 😄 what was the location accuracy like? Would I be able to tell which bush I've dropped my wallet into?
Definitely not that accurate haha. General area, good to know if you've left something behind. It has a wee speaker in it though for locating, but I wasn't actually able to get it to work either.
oh dear...
Would you recommend this or the Tile?
Personally never used Tile! Afaik though Tile doesn't rely in FindMy, so it might be a bit more reliable.

Obamna 😢
this video gave me anger issues
Same
What powers the device????????
Hopes and dreams and very likely a 3V battery.
Can we replace the battery or when it’s dead it becomes trash (which is not that sustainable)?
Yay cardboard... on a product that is trash after 2.5 years..
