- What a race we were witness to last night! The 2023 Indycar gallagher Grand Prix did not fail to disapoint, despite there only being one caution period! With lots of Palou drama to sink our teeth into as well, here are my thoughts on the whole weekend!

Devlin really went with one of the best turn 1 moves ever and then said that's enough for today

My best guess is he forgot to brake, and it kind of worked out well for once.
He has finally realised he needs to pull his finger out to keep his seat!
Must have been considering he finished like 20th and got lapped by Rahal who he passed at turn 1 and Dixon who was almost last.
Devlin took the lead into turn 1 and was a lap down by the end on pure pace…

You have to give Devilin some credit that was an amazing move considering how he’s been this season, going 4 wide and then 2 wide through the first corner and taking the lead is only a move f1 would dream of, can’t wait for him to crash again and return to normal
That would have been too much passing in too short a time for F1...they'd have to red flag the race from all the heads exploding at the sight.
Man only four more of these reviews left? Still a better race than anything F1 has done this year.

How Devlin got up there and then that he just ended up falling back and back and back. That is just wild on all front. On the other hand, this is one of those races that is Indy car at it's best, lots going on and it comes down to the last lap. Also excellent use of Careless Whisper!
Devlin's race was like my relationship every girl I have dated. Starts off strong and slowly fades away into nothing.

What this season has taught me with RLL is, even though it's a spec series, it's essential to have the right engineering talent with the right expertise and tricks up their sleeve to be competitive. If you don't have that, then whatever driver you have in your car no matter how good they are, they are screwed.
I knew Graham Rahal was a long way from trash like some people were saying, but still wasn't sure I'd be seeing him fight for wins again when they sorted the car setup. Good to see he's still got it.
Great race, I was quietly conflicted over Dixie or Rahal and I was hoping for a photo finish tie lol

As always a great review of a race, and has inspired me to actually watch a few races of Indycar this year.
I'm not 100% convinced it is the real Robb tweeting/X-ing you, but it would explain his driving. Jury is still out there.

Your timing and comments are perfect! There are VERY few YT's I'd allow more than 10 minutes of my time, and you are one of them. WELL DONE! PS If you edit the swearing (which I enjoy) a hair more I can listen with my young family. it is just as effective with the hint, IMO. Take the Bat Man comic approach, or even use Skooby Doo sound bytes. ;)
IndyCar is a fantastic series with great racing and drama that suffers from an insufficient schedule. It’s amazing that we have venues like Road America and Laguna Seca on the calendar, but IndyCar needs to start in January, considering how early the season ends, and the teams absolutely do not need to go to Indianapolis 3 times in one year. We need venues like Homestead-Miami, Watkins Glen, the Pikes Peak oval, Phoenix, COTA, Mont-Tremblant, Charlotte or Atlanta. We also need to go back to Surfers Paradise for the Down Under drivers, we need to have a race at England for the European drivers- preferably at Donington Park, and a race for the Latin drivers- preferably Mexico City.
Despite his questionable race after that first corner move... I am still mentally recovering from what I actually witnessed from the goat this weekend

He did, a lot faster than he let Dixon by. If you're going a lap down you can fight to stay on the lead lap, more than 1 lap and you have to move out of the way.

I'm convinced that NTT tampered with the tyres somehow. Devlin and Graham on top. Power newgarden and Dixon out in q1. Palou barely hanging on. There had to be something fishy I'm not buying it
Indy used to be my favorite racing to watch , but now , what with little talent behind the wheel and the worst commenters in the world of auto racing , I find myself looking forward more to your take on the races than the races themselves . Thanks for the chuckles .
