Nurse here, for pharm… most, if not all meds can cause nausea/vomiting. Remember things like… for flagyl or metronidazole you need to avoid alcohol and the sun. If you’re allergic to penicillin, you’re probably allergic to cephalosporins also. Tendon rupture can happen with Levaquin (antibiotic). What to watch for with Lithium toxicity. Labs that need to be drawn if you’re on Depakote (liver function). 😊

I'm doing the same thing, majoring in psychology and then nursing school. I'm finishing up my first year in April so I have a ways to go still haha but can't wait for nursing school, these videos are so inspiring!

@@Nurse-Up I never thought I’d actually utilize it, I was addicted to Starbucks. I used to have a keurig, I’ve always tried to do up a coffee bar, but my Nespresso just has the best coffee. It takes awhile to find what your favorites are but worth it 1000000%!

I would like to study nursing next year but I have doubts if it is really for me because how do you know???
I totally understand how you feel. When I was deciding if I wanted to pursue nursing, I wasn’t sure and I was nervous to pursue it without truly knowing if I’d enjoy it as my career. But what helped me was watching a ton of nurse day in the life videos on CZcams and other videos of nurses talking about their jobs/what they do. I don’t think you can ever know 100% if it’s for you until you start working as a nurse in the specialty you want to work in, but watching videos and researching it can help a lot! Taking anatomy & physiology as prerequisites before starting nursing school also gives you a good idea of whether the medical field is interesting to you/something you’d enjoy pursuing. I officially decided I wanted to go to nursing school while taking those courses 💗
