Bachmann, in my opinion, is one of the few high-quality Thomas merchandise lines left, particularly because it's based on the CGi era, rather than the All Engines Go! spin-off.

Sadly, it doesn't seem like Mattel is going to continue it, considering that April of this year is about to begin, and the only new things we've seen from that line are the Day Out With Thomas model and maybe the Farm playset with Terence.

It's great to see Bachmann extending the Thomas range. I remember when Hornby had the Thomas brand in the UK and I still have one of the original Thomas the Tank engine model.
So glad to see Salty back in the line, and Sir Handel is exiting news! It would be nice to see Emily get a number 12 and Henrietta a face, but I suppose theres only so much that can be asked for. The prices for these models are starting to get a little ridiculous though, especially since this line is supposed to be for kids just as much as it is for collectors and enthusiasts....
We need to see some more G scale engines, engines like Gordon, Edward, and Henry would be great, they’d cost a lot but it’d be worth it. Plus, the drive wheel configurations already exist for Gordon and Henry.
As much as they want to make larger g scale locos like Gordon and Henry, they have said it will be to expensive to make for the intended market and they cannot run the risk of making it only for Thomas And Friends enthusiasts incase there isn't enough sales to make a decent profit.

I too would love that. I don't know how the 'large scale' models sell - but I'm currently in the process of buying them all. They are so affordable, it's a delight to be able to buy them all. I do wish the range was wider though.

I really do wish I was around when I could've seen both hornby and bachmann thomas and friends range booming at their finest. While Mattel can't keep the happiest trend going, at least you folks can and I absolutely love it a lot. Please keep up the good work and keep the Fans going brighter than ever.

I have some requests/recommendations for next year: TV Series Redesign of Percy for his face/wheel alignment and a back coupling hook, Reintroduction of Arry/Bert with more Stubble on Bert's Face like in the TV Series and less on Arry's Face so we can tell them apart, Redesign of Henrietta with a Face from Season 18-24, Winston in HO Scale with enough room for the smaller figures on the seats, More Resin Buildings and Reintroductions of some of the previous ones (You guys did a wonderful job on them and it would be a shame to see them discontinued for good), Brenda Bay/Mr. Jolly's Chocolate Factory Box Vans in HO Scale with any other previous Large Scale Rolling Stock, Reintroduction of the Tar Tanker with the Season 1/23 Design, CGI Milk/Fuel Tanker, a Proper Troublesome Truck #6 with the actual Oil Tanker as that one was a random Tanker from Big World, Big Adventures, Troublesome Truck #7 as a Box Van, S.C. Ruffy Face Redesign from Season 4, More Mail Cars in Different Colors like the Green one, Charlie, Narrow Gauge Troublesome Trucks and the Green Coach/Brake Van, Sodor Steamworks with HO Scale and N Gauge Tracks, Vicarstown Dieselworks, TV Series Accurate Lamps to attach to Locomotives like with Oliver's Lamp, HO Scale/N Gauge Crossing like Peco did once, and Bulgy the Bus CGI Design from Season 21.
I would promote Bachmann to make all the Thomas and Friends characters and the cars large scale so I can examine them up close and decide which one to own. Matter of fact, I will convince the creators of Thomas and Friends to create matching copies of all the three sizes of the character models from all the live-action episodes so they can be sold everywhere.

If the creators of Thomas and Friends agree to change the show by excluding the characters' drivers, firemen, accidents and crashes, they can be glorified upon them learning the valuable lessons of planning and teamwork as they concentrate on their jobs; they will stay on the tracks as they do that.

Is it possible to replace the couplers on HO scale Thomas to make him compatible with E-Z Mate couplers or other types of couplers? While I love the models I don't like that the couplers are different than most other HO scale trains. I'd love to connect HO scale Thomas engines to HO scale wagons from various real world trains and a few fictional trains that are not from Thomas and Friends. I have an HO scale Bloomsburg Fair boxcar that I want to connect to Thomas. That boxcar means a lot to me as I got at the fair with my family many years ago. I'm hoping I can replace the couplers on either the boxcar or Thomas so they will work together. But I haven't found any information on how to do that or if it's possible. Any help would be much appreciated.
I love the work you guys put into this, but is there a release date for Tidmouth Sheds? Also I would love for Percy, Thomas, and James to have new faces. I would like if the Bachmann team could sell snow plows separately than having to buy the whole "Thomas saves christmas" set for just the one piece. Also if the 3 engines get new faces maybe sell them separately so people can change the faces, and change Toby's bell, because it looks kind of cheap, this is all I had for suggestions, once again I love the work you do, and my first train set came in the mail yesterday, and I am so excited to expand my railway!

As much as they want to make larger g scale locos like Gordon and Henry, they have said it will be to expensive to make for the intended market and they cannot run the risk of making it only for Thomas And Friends enthusiasts incase there isn't enough sales to make a decent profit.

Is it possible to replace the couplers on HO scale Thomas to make him compatible with E-Z Mate couplers or other types of couplers? While I love the models I don't like that the couplers are different than most other HO scale trains. I'd love to connect HO scale Thomas engines to HO scale wagons from various real world trains and a few fictional trains that are not from Thomas and Friends. I have an HO scale Bloomsburg Fair boxcar that I want to connect to Thomas. That boxcar means a lot to me as I got at the fair with my family many years ago. I'm hoping I can replace the couplers on either the boxcar or Thomas so they will work together. But I haven't found any information on how to do that or if it's possible. Any help would be much appreciated.
I love the work you guys put into this, but is there a release date for Tidmouth Sheds? Also I would love for Percy, Thomas, and James to have new faces. I would like if the Bachmann team could sell snow plows separately than having to buy the whole "Thomas saves christmas" set for just the one piece. Also if the 3 engines get new faces maybe sell them separately so people can change the faces, and change Toby's bell, because it looks kind of cheap, this is all I had for suggestions, once again I love the work you do, and my first train set came in the mail yesterday, and I am so excited to expand my railway!
