Played The Invincible and liked it for the intriguing story and the retro futuristic art design. (Also read Stanislaw Lems novel to know more about the world.) I finished it before the recent update.
This update adresses some of the issues you brought up in the video. Faster movement where it is possible, 3rd person view for the rover segments and a added FOV setting option, there may be more. It is a niche game within a niche (hard sci fi and walking sims) - I found it to be worth my time.

I finished the game back when it first came loved it and since I've read the novel really like it and it expanded my understanding of the world.
