The ink tank system appears to be much better than the cartridge system czcams.com/users/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 and a lot cheaper to run. The machine was easy to set up. A small point but I thought they'd be a USB cable included to help with the set up but there was none. I've been using it now for a few weeks and it seems like a good product and superior to my previous printers which were all troublesome HP machines.
You can use photo booth app which will allow you to do strips over wifi
Thank you! This video was exactly what I was looking for.
Im so glad i watched this! i just got my printer yesterday and have been trying to figure out how to do multiple pics on one sheet and thought i was missing something in the app lol thank you for sharing!!!
You're very welcome! Glad it was useful for you. 😁
Thank you so much for sharing this video and mildiv, I have been trying to use my selphy to print multiple photos for my planner but have not been happy with the ratio features of other apps. This app really changes what it Looks like on the screen so I know what it will look like when I print. Thank you so much.
You're very welcome! I really like the features of Moldiv, and I'm so glad you found a solution for your printing.
Very helpful thank you for taking the time to share about the app so I can print several pics from my phone!
You're very welcome! I'm glad you can have more fun with your printer now!
It is a good printer. I have an old AgfaPhoto that I can no longer get cartridges for. Thanks Agfa. So I bought the Canon CP1300
Thank you so much for sharing this video.
Omg thanks so much for sharing this video cant wait to give it a try
+shawleesar you're welcome! Glad it was helpful.
OMG thank you sooo much now with that program Moldiv what you let us see i am going to buy a CP 1300 THANKS
You're very welcome! I hope you enjoy the printer!
the best review ever i saw it .. thanx
+Dano0otah oh gosh, thank you! Glad it was helpful.
What is the difference between cp 1200 and 1300??
I followed all the insyructions but the pictures are printing sideways, how do I change the orientation of the pics?
They're really should update the app so you can use all the fun features through your phone and not only memory card. Great video!
+saraven I hope they will! Did you get the 1300 too? Glad you enjoyed the video.
one option is to change the printer setting to print 8-up, and it will print 8 photos on one sheet, I just printed 8 photos straight from my camera to the printer
+WEBB Studios thanks for the suggestion, I'll have to give that a try! Printing straight from the camera sounds very convenient too.
Extremely helpful
Im going to buy this tomorrow! Thank you so much. Im just so happy lol! Hahahha
+Shane you're welcome! I hope you enjoy it! I am finding that the Selphy paper doesn't take stamping so well, but if you aren't planning on doing that this is an awesome printer.
Omgggg! Thank you so much! ❤️😁
Shane Very helpful indeed! Cant wait to get one
Unbelievable Canon doesn't let us do that via wifi. Hassle to take memory card out of phone and mount it. Good video. Will use app for collages instead of Canon's memory card method.
+Chris Lovescoke it would be nice if there were a native canon app to do collages... hopefully someday!
You can also use the app "Selphy Photo Layout" and then select "Bookmark Layout" ... you are also able to access that app via the Canon Print App
I will check that out, thank you!

any idea to print out like polaroid style?
The Moldive app may have a template for that in their options. It's worth a look!
I've seen canon paper easily cutable form 4x6 to 2x6 strip just folding it. It is used with that photobooth (kruu -> www.mariages.net/forum/photobooth-kruu-qui-a-deja-fait-appel-a-eux--t382490)
Can someone tell me if I can buy that paper somewhere?
Thanks
Do you have to cut it with scissors to make two strips. Or is it perforated?
You'll have to cut it apart with scissors to make two strips, unfortunately.
What type of paper is that? Or is it just the regular paper and you could cut it in half?
Yes, it's the regular photo paper, and I just cut it in half.
When I downloaded it today, it was on sale for about $6. Thanks for the video!
+Sharifah A so glad you snagged a sale! Hope you enjoy working with it.
Hi, would you say buying a selphy would be cheaper or more expensive than just going to the drugstore or costco to print pictures
It's about .32 cents per print based on current ink/paper cost...and that doesn't include the cost of the printer. So your mileage may vary depending on how much Costco and Walgreens cost. I think the quality is better than Walgreens. It's definitely much more convenient to have quick access to editing and photos. So I like that aspect most.
@@girlwithtulips5948 Thank you!
Do you know how to print wallet size on the 4x6 paper?
Check the Canon app...they have made updates.
Has there been updated. Can we connect via wifi from phones or iPads?
I am not sure...you should check Canon's website to see if they have any updates.
Can you print from your computer? I want to purchase one for my scrapbooking. Thanks for your video.
Yes you should be able to, but please check their website just to make sure...I believe I've only used wireless phone access with mine.
your ratio maybe wrong, the edge got cutted
Good video but the word collage is a soft "g" not a hard one.
Rachelle Omenson yes, you're right!
Thank you so much for sharing this video.
