@@valeo862 Yeah we were in the same class together. We weren't best of friends of that sort. But I remember having the odd conversation with him over the couple of years. He had alot of female friends and spent alot of time in their company.

Luke, can we be friends? He is the kind of person that you probably forget how the time pass when having a chat with about anything, any subject, even the weather! lol.. It's just nice to hear his thoughts, specially culture. Everytime, I stop and think about the point he has made, ginving me a new perspective of the subject. Keep like that, Luke! I wish we have more of those podcasts with him.
Everyone is yearning for Benedict's season and of course it will be amazing but the longer they put it off the more Benedict/Luke Thompson we get as afterwards he'll inevitably feature less, I am happy to be patient - Luke's comedic timing is superb, particularly 'I'm in the MIDST of a conversation' in season 2. Rob - full disclosure came here predominantly for Luke but a genuine Marion and Geoff fan - you could say I straddle both worlds
I love this way of thinking in terms of Benedict’s season! Definitely makes me feel more patient because Benedict’s book is my favourite lol

Very late to the party (I only just found this interview), but omg yes! Let the poor guy speak! He never got to say what he wanted to say because the host kept interrupting. It was painful to watch, but Luke handled it very well.

I like this but I feel Rob just talks ALL over him at times.
This is the first time I have seen your show, and I won't be tuning in again. It is not funny to belittle and repeatedly poke fun at someone simply because he/she is young. My son came in the other day telling me about this cool new song (Beatles...Hey Jude...smh). I will not belabor the point. Also, you called him out twice for being defensive. I would have been as well. I also can't believe that you told him to relax. You were the cause of the friction. He is clearly more good natured than I am, but I am older. Don't ruin what makes him such a rarity. He is a genuinely nice, talented actor. It would be nice not to throw him to the wolves just yet. I would be shocked if he came back.
It’s his style. He’s a very well known comic and actor and it’s all banter and fun. Taking the piss. He’s been around longer than Luke and has been well known for years especially for Gavin and Stacey . And Luke knows it’s all tongue in cheek and fun Hence him laughing so much! He references fellow actors and comics- David Walliams, Simon Pegg.
