You know what I love about this video? It's so damn simple. You don't have the 20 minute backstory. He just tells you what you need, and timelapses himself doing it to show you, which is perfect. Short sweet and to the point. Great video!
Thankyou for watching and taking the time to comment!
Omg you speak the truth! I love people who just get on with it. Thanks for a great simple "just do it" video. Love those brackets.. I'm going to get some!
@@dianacrisp5944 Thank you very very much!
I followed through with this and made my own to hold my laptop for a mini recording booth. Works like a charm!
@@dt8295 Perfect! Thanks!
Installed these on a riding mower czcams.com/users/postUgkxetgfkJxfdT_B2vGYP-uNTLaBbim9OKTD . They were sharp out of the box, although I've never liked blade edges that were coated...not quite as sharp as I personally want. Using my belt sander, I removed the coating from the cutting edges and refined the edge enough to shave with them. So far, after three runs, these blades are holding up as expected. Even after hitting a few fallen 1/2 inch or so branches, the edges are still sharp as heck. No edge dings, no warping, etc. As far as installing them, the cutouts were of the proper size and shape to fit my aging Craftsman mower. Very satisfied.
Sorry for the late reply. Maybe the heavy-duty 350 lbs might work. I would be worried about the middle.
Love it when someone with my skill level bangs something useful together. Love the attitude - da daaa! “If its shit I’ll change it” yeah!!
Yes! Thank you!
this is possibly the greatest woodworking/handyman youtube video of all time
Thank you! for years I wanted to have a folding table by my second floor window. However, since I am not a carpenter, I was only wishing. Now, I am able to enjoy my folding table outside. Thanks again.
That is awesome and makes me happy! Thanks again!
It's nice when you see a pro do it, but it's great when you see a guy like you put it together! Nice job pal!
Thank you Bernard,
instablaster.
This is a pretty solid little workbench. While once you figure out how it comes together, it is physically Easy to assemble czcams.com/users/postUgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWxFHh by yourself. But the diagrams explaining the steps are really pretty bad. I could not get the handle pins in all the way despite multiple attempts, so I just used a screw I had on hand for the 2nd handle. I could not get the first pin in further or pull it back out. You are supposed to hammer it in, but I had no leverage and the handle is plastic and I did not want to risk breaking it. I will get a lot of use out of the bench because of the convenient size and height. It does fold up nicely for storage. They even explain how to fold it so you don't get pinched...that is important!
I agree! Thanks!
I've been a cabinetmaker for 20 years and I think you did an excellent job. Also, a warmed mixture of beeswax and mineral oil works great on wood (and it's food safe).
Thank you and GREAT Advice!
This is possibly one of the best DIY vids ive ever watched
Thanks for watching and the comment
I agree
Hahaha. I keep trying to reply to the main comment.
Agreed!!
Yeah I love the part where he did the entire project without any instructions

Build you a work table, that would be an awesome, useful project. Oh yeah, that’s what you built. These brackets are what I’m looking for info on. Many thanks- for the simplicity of project.

Exactly what a need. Great short video 🙏

Thanks Bo.. good idea. I see there's some BIG stainless steel brackets too.. 330# 16" model runs $30 for two right now, and these will help make a great flip up table extension for my outdoor pizza oven's stainless steel table, wow a new pop-up prep area!!!
Cheers!
Awesome! Sounds great! And thanks!
Thank you for adding the links to the bracket
Nice! I just bought two of these... one with 20" arms, and the other with 16" arms... the bigger one will be to mount a dining/computer table on the balcony, and the shorter one to mount a seat in the shower... Thanks for the vid!
Thank you. Love the balcony idea! We are doing a shower remodel this summer and plan to do the same thing. Good luck with your projects and thanks again!
How did the seat work out? Do the brackets support your weight?
Thank you. This made me laugh, short succinct, no messing around. Peace

Awesome! Thanks for taking the time to watch and leave a comment!
Thanks for the video I love this can the brackets be used the opposite way flip up instead of flip down.
Not sure I understand the questions. It does flip up. And then when you release the tabs it flips down. But there are a few creative ways to use them.
Practicality is king. Thanks for the share. Perfect instruction.
Thank you!
i've been wanting one of those for a long while....Now I see how to make it. Thanks,it does look easy :-)
Awesome! Glad that helped. I just used these in a remodel of our shower and made a teak-wood flip up seat. I used a teak-wood bath mat and cut it to size. Came out great. Will be making a video on it I hope soon.
Thanks again!

Thank you Danial!
Could you do this, but make it a counter top? And make it flip up? Even with a catching hook? Basically I have a floor door for my basement that I I don’t open often, but need a flipping counter just like this! Thanks!!!
Yes, just get the heavy duty ones.
I like your video! I appreciate the option, I looked at buying a fold up bench from Amazon and its north of $200.00.
Glad I could help!
Awesome video. Thanks for sharing this 👍🏾

You like it but I love it ! Kudos for Your simplicity Sir , thanks for sharing and video !
Thank you 🙏
Could you tell me why you added the extra boards on the bottom to attach the brackets to? I'm in the process of trying to do this myself.
Hi , Need them to hold all the other boards in place and have something to mount the bracket too.
I like it too!
Thank you!
Good stuff. How would you go about assembling a reverse (or flip-down instead of up) wall mount? The same folding brackets could be reversed but then the table would hang below them when flipped down instead of resting on top of the brackets. I need it to be flip-down because I need more length than is possible from bracket height to floor and can get more height for that by doing it reverse and pushing the table up against the wall (bracket to ceiling greater length) when not in use. It's for a fairly small garage to use as an extension table for rip cuts with table saw (also a folding model). Don't know if reverse-orientation folding brackets exist or a workaround to this.
It is not made for that but others have tried it and it seems to work.
You did great
Thank you
Exactly what I needed to know. Thank you for making it simple!
Glad it helped!
I want something like this for extra counter space since I live in a small studio with not much counter space
Perfect.
Great. Going to order them now from amazon

Hi there. I'm looking at mounting a diorama airport. The videos are on this channel if you'd like to see them. I was thinking of getting three of these to hold a 3.5' by 2.5' plywood board weighing about 20 lbs. Do you think these are too small to hold something as far out as that? Please let me know. Thanks.
This is great! Good job!
Thanks for watching and the comment!
Perfect man 👨 that’s cool 😎
Thank you! Just used some of these to do a teakwood flip up shower seat. Turned out great!
Great job, but I wouldn't use Canola oil for anything but weedkiller
Thanks!
Spot on mate, G'day from Australia.

What an awesome bracket! Where did you get it? & Dude, you need a table to work on.....it will save your back
Hi Thanks! Links to the brackets are in the description to the video! thanks again! YES I do need a table to work on :-)
that'll work just fine! great video!
Thanks 👍
Cam someone please tell me if these can be used the other way around so flip down instead of flip up? Cheers
I think that would work, if you do not mind the brackets showing.
Yes the bracket showing is fine it's more of it would take the load only 10kg max over 2 brackets the other way round , so that it would fold up and away
Nicely done. I presume the stated weight capacity is for a pair, not per unit? I see some that are rated for 550 lbs., but are sold in 4 packs.
Than you and thanks for taking the time. Max load capacity: 550lb/set. make sense to me cause it takes both hands to push the lever to unlock and put it down. Would be hard with 4. Thanks again!
Great video, just wondering if you know how much weight the hinges would handle if you used two?
Thank you. Each set is rated different. Some can handle up to 350 lbs.
Nice!. How would you do the same the other way, instead of dropping below, if you want to raise it above for folding?
Don't think that is possible with this set up. You would have to do hinges and chains or something. That is a really easy and cheap setup .
Great video. U have a new fan and subscriber.
Thank you!
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
My man! Thanks for this video, sir!
Any time!
Thanks for sharing!!
If I don't like it ....
Fair enough!
Great
Thank you!
Picture a desk up against a wall. Desk over run with two keyboard that need to be used when needed. Then picture a a shelf connected to the wall that holds a keyboard. By some type of made hardware with what ever it takes - one could pull the keyboard out, and then down to desk level - connect wiring again - use as needed. Store back in original position. The shelf is always flat of course, I am trying to come up with a way to pull it out far enough to then bring downward to desk level so it sits flat. Headache?
Did you get it figured out?
Could these be used in reverse? I want the desktop to fold UP not down, but I’m wondering how much weight these brackets will hold when used that way.
I would get the heavy-duty and use bolts and nuts. Not sure that is the right way,,, and not what designed for... :-)
Could I do the brackets upside down so the table could flip down? I need a flip down table above my washer.
Don't think that would work upside down.
Good stuff Bo
Thank you!
So sorry but I didn't see the links for the hinges, can you supply that one more time. I am looking to build a fold up foot stool in my bathroom so I can put a leg up and towel off. Cramped little bathroom so I thought that example you made would be perfect, I'll just use half the wood.
They are in the description above the comments.
