Apparently the Warriors traded their 2030 pick to the Wizards and it’s top 20 protected in the Poole/CP3 trade which is absolutely nuts! Why’d they trade a pick so far away in that?
Top 20 protected is very low risk, if it was lighter protections like top 10 it would be highly risky and the deal probably wouldn’t have been done
Trying everything to maximize the Curry years. It's very rare for any team to get a Curry. Especially a former small market team like they were pre Curry.
PUERTO RICO IS GOING TO THE OLYMPICS!!!! 🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷
🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷
The Jazz's current team is the youngest team in the league and even with Lauri would most likely still be a bottom 5 team this year. If they trade Lauri they would almost guarantee being a bottom 2 team.
Let’s go!

Kings gonna be one of the top teams this year
True top team with no shot to win it alll
The B.I. to Cleveland for Allen and LeVert is the best option.
best option for new orleans for ingram trade will be contact chicago and ask for lonzo and nikola i think bulls maybe willing to take ingrams contract as long it will not involve picks nikola perfect fit for zion
Great podcast Matt, I really like the idea of a 3-teamer involving Ingram, Markkanen and a 3rd team and have been drawing up different trades the last few weeks trying to land Markkanen in New Orleans. I think Lauris fit as a center next to Zion is as good at it gets and the premise of the trade is that the Pels get Lauri + a defensive center (who can match up against elite bigs) from the 3rd team, the 3rd team gets BI and Utah gets picks/young players in return. I've been struggling with finding a realistic 3rd team that would like a player like Brandon Ingram in return, who are also willing to part with one of their bigs. Walker Kessler would be a great fit, but I think hes someone Utah would prefer to keep around in a rebuild/retooling. Timelord would also be interesting and I could see BI being a fit there, but I'm unsure about how well he's recovered. Mitch Rob and Poeltl are also intriguing, but I don't see either of the teams benefitting from BI.
Would be curious to hear your input/thoughts about a potential trade like this.
Lauri Markannen would be elite on the Cavs
😂
I also love how you want to say the young players lose, lose, lose white L. M. flourish's with the Warrior!
I wish the jazz would just give my lakers lauri and Walker for Rui, JHS and evry 1st we can give 😂
I love how all these Warriors fans want L. Markhan for little of nothing. You know Danny Ainge will want the kitchen sink. Meaning: L. Markahn for J. K., Wiggins and at least 2 first round picks. At least.
What about Cam Johnson, Dariq Whitehead & 2025, 2 2026 first round picks for Brandon Ingram!
Why would Pels accept that their tryna get better they don’t need draft picks
Utah wouldn't want Brandon "Always Hurt" Clark. Things giving up a ton for L. M.?
your trade idea was just rumored by Evan Sidery
what's with the UT ahhh shirt
I feel like you are undervaluing brandon ingram by quite a bit. Also there is no way that if he is traded that he isnt signed and then traded
Expiring deal
@@rigbythekhajiit i feel like you didnt read
I don’t see a sign, then trade scenario. It’ll be like the OG Anunoby situation, they’ll trade him and he’ll resign in the summer.
Financially speaking - Only the Spurs can trade and Offer Lauri Markkanen a full extension. By the way, Trading with San Antonio instead of Sacramento or GS
Is the only way jazz can open trade exceptions etc
Asset wise - Only the Spurs have the assets that is valuable in Danny Ainge eyes.
Potential trade package:
Spurs Receive:
Lauri Markkanen
Jordan Clarkson
Jazz Receive:
Zach Collins
Keldon Johnson
Malaki Branham or Blake Wesley
2025 ATL First round pick
2027 ATL First round pick
2030 Minnesota Pick swap
2031 Minnesota first round pick
2028 Boston first round pick swap
(Why the Minnesota picks?)
Danny Ainge traded Rudy Gobert to Minn so the two more picks Danny Ainge would fully own Minnesota future like he did against Brooklyn.
Like i said no team can offer anything close to What the Spurs can offer.
false... Any team that trades for Lauri CAN re-sign him to whatever they'd like.. it's up to them to do it. And OKC could compete with the Spurs in any offer if they wanted to
@@OldNudy False do your study on Aprons and the new financial world around the NBA.
@@WembysCastle I'm fully aware of the new CBA... That's why I say a number of teams COULD trade and extend Lauri. He only makes 18 million this year. That's easy to trade for. The year after next year is the problem, not the upcoming year. And for reference... The Celtics is an example of a team that's willing to spend to keep their own players WITH the new Apron rules. Any team can pay to keep their own.... It just might not be the smartest move long term lol
As a Jazz fan, I’d take this deal and think it would be solid. Lauri could win in his prime and Jazz could have those hawks pick to continue rebuilding.
@@ItsSnagret 👀 be patient. It's going to happen soon
He’s making less than hartstein
At this point the Warriors would be Stupid to trade Kuminga
