Renault Scénic 2011 Third generation (2009-2016)
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to replace the main dipped bulb (low beam bulb) on a Renault Scenic MK3:
    1. Identify the location of the main dipped bulb on your Renault Scenic MK3. It is usually located in the front headlight assembly.
    2. Make sure the car is turned off and the headlight switch is in the off position.
    3. Open the hood of the car to access the headlight assembly.
    4. Locate the back of the headlight assembly where the bulb is housed.
    5. Twist and remove the plastic cover or clip that covers the bulb.
    6. Carefully disconnect the wiring harness from the back of the bulb or leave it on to help you wiggle the bulb.
    7. Wiggle the bulb gently to loosen it from the socket.
    8. While wiggling, pull the bulb straight out of the socket.
    9. Insert the new bulb into the socket and ensure it is securely in place.
    10. Reattach the wiring harness to the back of the new bulb.
    11. Replace the plastic cover or clip over the bulb.
    12. Close the hood of the car and turn on the headlights to test the new bulb.

Hi great channel, I have had some new brake pads and discs 200 miles in, after 10 mins of driving from cold they start to squeek when pressed, any thoughts on what could be the issue? Thank you

Thank you for your message and for your kind words about my channel. If the mechanic used cheaper quality brake pads and did not apply copper slip grease during the installation, this could be a possible cause of the squeaking noise you are experiencing. Cheaper brake pads may not have the same quality in terms of materials and composition, which could lead to increased friction and noise when braking.
Copper slip grease is often used during brake pad installation to reduce vibration and noise by lubricating the contact points between the brake pads and caliper. Without this lubrication, the brake pads may not move smoothly against the caliper, leading to squeaking noises.
I would recommend discussing this with your mechanic and asking them to inspect the brake pads to see if they need to be replaced with higher quality pads or if copper slip grease needs to be applied. It's important to address these issues to ensure the safety and performance of your vehicle's braking system.
I hope this information helps, and I wish you the best of luck in resolving the issue with your brakes. Let me know if you have any other questions.
