Progress on the 3D printed Skyline and Installing Suspension Upgrades on the Subaru (E8)

- This week I was able to make some progress on the Subasharu project by beginning to reassemble the suspension using a bunch of new upgraded parts. I also made progress on the 3D printed Skyline build by adding some details to the body and assembling the steering knuckle assemblies.

always kool to see build like this especially custom ones like a 1/25 scale rc car
Later down the road, it would be awesome to see some sort of wide body. This stuff is pretty cool, look forward to future videos.
small yellow lettering on the wheels like on some race cars would make it look dope
I think a wash on the white paint might help pop the details such as door lines and panel gaps.

But you should make a different 3D printed diffusor on thy skyline because it looks way to round and doesn't fit the car...
add some sort of fender flares to the skyline that goes from the front bumper to the rear bumper on both sides. but im only suggesting this becuase im interested to see what it'll look like
Please, PLEASE add vortex generators (FINS) on the roof of the skyline. I know its more of an Evo thing but it still looks dope.
Integrate washers anywhere in the subaru rally build were there is rubbing plastic also do a tire livery and spoiler for the skyline and above all i nees updates on the firebird i love that build

PS. What do you think of bodylines on the skyline? Only if it's worth the time, however it would help the scale appearance for sure!
I'm glad your enjoying the videos. Some body lines would look good but might be a bit tedious to add since the body line gaps are extremely faint in many spots.
I'd suggest outlining the body panels, and doing something with the door handles (on the outside) on the Skyline. Excellent content.
I don't know much about car aerodynamics but maybe you can consider adding Vortex Generators to the skyline

I'd be interested to see you send one of your designs to a 3d printing service or two, then compare with the parts you have printed yourself. Might be a bit costly though, just an idea.

I would love to figure out all I would need to build my own model rc car. Do u think u could maybe do a video on where to get pads to do that? And great videos buy the way. I really enjoy watching u make cool rc cars. And then do customizations to them.

Are you sure about those half shafts? I have little experience, but it would seem that the pins would try to separate the 2 plastic halves.I thought it might be better to put the pins perpendicular to the mating surface of the printed bits

I tried to build a Lego RC car, using the electronics of a base model Traxxas Slash...but it turns out that ABS Lego pieces don't like 30,000+ rpms, lol. I probably should have looked up the melting point of ABS before I started; it's only like 220-230 degrees F.

I'm currently working on the front fender and bed side pieces and getting some parts painted. Once I'm finished with those pieces I'll include the progress in a video.
