As a Saints fan I was so excited to see NFL throwback recognizing this great game
I thought we were gonna watch beast quake rumble and stumble his way to the end zone from the 2010 wildcard game, but I guess this is the ultimate consolation prize of a game to that one 😂🤷🏿♂️

One my absolute favorite games as a Saints fan. We had to wait three years to get revenge on Seattle after they beat us twice in 2013, but this win was well worth the wait!
I feel like the game back in 2019 was a much better revenge game. It was actually in seattle and we didn’t even have brees, yet we dominated. Sure the D made the final score close, but it truly was a blowout.

2016 was one of those years where brees balled out but the saints had a bad defense and only went 7-9
The offense only played great against the weaker defenses. The offense struggled against the Giants, Falcons first game, Chargers(defense actually won that one), Chiefs, Broncos, Panthers second game, Lions(most frustrating loss that year), and Bucs first game. Cooks proved he wasn't good enough for the offense that needed him in the absence of an elite TE and satellite back. He got easily shut down by good corners.

Seattle has hands down screwed the Saints often by their losing games.
2011, lost to SF forcing Saints to go to SF when they were the only team that could handle the Giants.
2016, lost to Arizona giving division foe Atlanta the number 2 seed and a trip to the SB.
2019, lost to SF giving them the number 1 seed and forcing the Saints to play the Vikings.
2020, lost to the Rams in the wild card round at home essentially causing the Saints to have to play Tom Brady for the third time after sweeping them.
2023, got swept by the Rams all before week 12 which shaped the playoff race and the week 16 Saints matchup.
I've completely blocked out the 14-16 seasons so I don't remember this game.
