The problem with that is, it could backfire in a long run. You are not making friends with anyone with that position and US will certainly take that in a negative way. China got lucky back in the 90s as US was in cold war with USSR, China gladly open themselves to US/west and 100% stayed away from USSR. China didn't play "smart enough to use our options' position. China welcome with open arms and US helped them. As with South Korea, Taiwan and Japan, they 100% aligned with US from 1950 and look were they are today. So, India trying to catch two bunnies at the same time or trying to please two super power at the same time will not benefit them at all. Its a dumb and arrogant move.

Modi ji is MTech in Political Science from Ahmedabad University in Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat. Any doubt?

He holds many patents and the best known are Demonetization, Electoral Bonds, Make in India, Waterless toilet, Cashless economy, Creators award. Annamala is his best discovery. His Master's Voice in English. PK is just another face to resolve Modiji 's media jinx. Jaishankar is masterclass in escalatory/inflammatory diplomacy.
He wears digital costumes which can change his look any number of times within a day.
Modiji holds the record for highest number of paid interviews during election time alone.
If anybody tells him that he was better than Rahul then Modi ji would be the happiest person. Rahul is his personal benchmark and likewise Cong is the benchmark for BJP. Without them BJP cannot demostrate their performance, success and achievements.

Fareed demonstrates his bias in his comments.
    1. Modi’s original appeal was because he was an outsider to Delhi who had delivered in Gujarat. Every previous PM ( with the exception of Deve Gowda), was a Lutyen’s Delhi insider for years before becoming PM. The efforts of Sonia to sideline Dr Singh and the scams in UPA added to the need to get rid of the Delhi based leadership
    2. His defence of Biden is laughable. US economy, under Trump, did much better till Covid crisis hit. The real issue is whether the measures of the leftist ( and self claimed liberals)are really worth anything
    3. His advocacy of India becoming part of the US camp ignores the acts of the west. Over the last century, west has made several efforts to dismember India. US today wants India to fight China militarily in the same way manner in which Ukraine is fighting a losing battle with Russia. Americans would like India to be the battlefield in the US China battle for supremacy. US did not come to India’s aid in 1962. In 65 &71, US was anti India. During the Cargill conflict, the US put pressure on India not to claim some territory from Pakistan in a war initiated by Pakistan. Obama proposed to make China the boss of Asia ignoring its long term allies like Japan, South Korea and Taiwan

@@HellBot-gi5si Think you should first study data before commenting. The US economy had a 128 month growth which ended with Covid. This included both Obama and Trump administrations. The unemployment rate (3.5%) was lowest in 50 years in February 2020 but increased to 14.7% in two months as Covid hit. Trump was quite hostile to India in economic terms. He was isolationist and protectionist in his policy. He also remains the only American President in the last several decades who did not start a war

On top of it he is pontificating how such a thing which he is deviously and falsely attributing to Modi, would never work in the long run!!!
