Finally saw Milk Money on Prime; Harris and Griffith have chemistry and I did chuckle once, but the film has the family film ascetic from the era (think Beethoven) so I sat dumbfounded

I had to Google the premise of "Milk Money". I was dumbstruck when they described it and I was hoping they were mistaken or were exaggerating.
They weren't.

I’m kinda embarrassed to admit this but we used to watch Milk Money all the time as kids whenever HBO would play it. We liked it… then we grew up lol. Ed Harris is one of my favorite actors but it was disheartening watching him in this movie because he has to play dumb.

Goofy and absurd as It Is, overall I still liked Milk Money and I'll die on that hill.
Yes It's honestly bad but It still has that early 90s coming of age charm when our society didn't take everything so seriously , and I won't deny that oldschool cheesy feelgood nostalgia I biasly love so much and the simple fun weirdness of It all.
