I went truffle hunting when I was in Alba, Italy. What an amazing experience. We sliced truffles into everything LOL
The best truffles in the world, white alba truffles... Too bad it's an overprized good.

My dog found her first Oregon black truffle last week. I was so excited! It smelled so strongly of pineapples and vanilla that I think it would go better on a sweet dish than savory. Can’t wait to find my first white truffle.

Taku and Jocelyn combined another sensational and explosive wanderlust of exploration, taste, and experience. I loved watching Alana McGee, Coda and Ruby. I hungered for this knowledge many years past but was unable to explore it any depth. This presentation took me on an adventure of my lifetime: to build on and which I truly cherish. Thank you all.
On a personal note, I found the truffle hunting with Coda and Ruby far favorable to working English pointers on pheasant alone; a favorite lifelong experience mostly unparalleled. I cant help but feel overly compelled to pair all the savors and flavors of a fall hunt with what I've learned here.
I can only imagine a bird dog pointing a Chinese pheasant, a cotton tail rabbit, and a truffle from a hedge row. How to prepare the feast? How to put it all together is overwhelming for my humble experience .... ahhhh but a mountain pizza might do it. The crust is the very foundation of my folly or success but I must build it and let others take it apart.
• quartered pheasant and rabbit
Sear in skillet with clarified butter.
Salt and pepper to taste
Reduce heat to low and add chopped onion wait for clarity then drizzle with Takus Truffle butter and oil.
Fold in 1 quart sour cream cover and simmer 20 minutes.
Remove and chill 1 hr.
• Prepare Takus risotto mushroom and cheese dish remembering to add the wine
Assemble risotto bed.
Place chilled pheasant and rabbit quarters in circular arrangement.
Sprinkle with more of Takus truffle infused parmesan.
Top with chocolate squares, cherries and peeled grapes.
Prepare whipped cream with truffle infusions. Top.
Pour 6- 8 oz Frangelico liquor over top.
Garnish with pinion nuts, walnuts, almond sliver, pecans and of course chopped hazel nuts.
Drown the bed partially in red wine.
And finally place I large scoop frozen vanilla custard dead center on top just before presenting....maybe drizzle chocolate and caramel.

Might want to reconsider the proximity of your gas stove inches away from your cars gas cap. The caps are made to vent slightly.

@@Garth2011 Please don't tell me you never had overflow, a loose gas cap by accident or failed o ring under gas cap releasing fumes. If not... 50% of the people out there has that. Oh and I have a Subaru.... It doesn't lock down tightly due to the overtightening mechanism preventing that. Vapor escape exists.
