The legend of Zelda: breath of the wild, except link is paralyzed, invents a new mode of transportation, has a seizure, obtains more militaristic power than the world can handle, improves on his mode of transportation, finds out how the phantom armor really works, invents cloning and doesn’t read the safety warnings on his fireworks.
You forgot that he travels at such a distance that the world has trouble keeping up with his insanely high speed.

The more I learn about these "Glitches in Zelda" like OOT just happening to warp you to the final boss - I think it's just ways for the game devs to skip parts of the game and test them on a retail / released copy, or perhaps just something from development they left in as an easter egg. In any case, I think it's pretty cool that someone inside Nintendo makes these games with glitches in mind, it seems that way to me atleast. Skyward sword is literally the only game with no glitches.. also the worst selling Zelda game by far, lol. Not even the people that developed it cared!

That falling glitch where Link gets funky is called the Floating Point Glitch, and is present in MANY games. Basically, the further you get from the center of a map, the less accurate the math of the game gets, as the game keeps track of your location using numbers, and it can only store numbers so large. It’s extremely similar on a technological level to what causes the farlands glitch in older versions of Minecraft. Floating Point glitches can be found in just about any game that uses floating point for calculations, from Undertale using it for animations to Roblox for keeping track of the player’s coordinates (like in BOTW).

The way Link is progressively glitching more and more in the falling for 10 hours video reminds me of the way the emotions from Inside Out were changing into abstract thought and stuff in that chamber they passed through

The reason why Link only gets hurt once in the fireworks glitch is that Link does not take damage while in the ragdoll state (except for when rolling on the ground), in order to prevent getting stuck in an infinite cycle of being kicked while down.

none of these will damage your save! if you just exit the game from the home screen of your switch and reenter, your game will be as good as when you left it!

The only glitches that can damage your save are the ones like sidon and dark beast ganon out of bounds. Otherwise these glitches are all fine! I recommend the flying minecarts, it isn't even really a glitch, and it lets you create a fully controllable flying machine. Now there are glitches like moonjump, but it can be reset by climbing on a horse I believe or closing the game. Botw's glitches are basically cheat codes and I love all of them.

@@Linuxfy Nah, they must abuse the game because I've sunk SO MANY hours into this game over multiple accounts with two at 100% completion and I've never run into glitches at this level. Only a couple of times has something weird happened that didn't culminate in any serious consequences or crazy glitching
I'm guessing a chunk of them are found by accident but then there's speedrunners who are constantly trying new things to shave time off and refine their methods.
Then there's those who just look into the game code and figure out ways to manipulate things and test it.

I remember accidentally finding a way to get out of bounds in the kah okeo shrine, with intended game mechanics, just trying to solve a puzzle.
so i got to near the end where theres a massive pillar of stone you have to blow up. there were a couple ways to do it, but i decided to land on a small block with a torch and blow it up with a bomb. thing is, i knocked myself into the void, and that block was moved out of the shrine bounds once the stones blew up. i respawned ON that block, OUt of bounds, and got to explore. i found this by accident and its super easy to do. kah okeo is on the far west of the map just north of the cold desert mountains. anyone who tries it lmk

If you thought that link falling for ten hours was weird, imagine that but in VR. I found this glitch in a VR game that was basically the same thing but way simpler to do and with in minutes my hands were all wavy and I was falling faster and faster.

you can do this hack with moonjump where you get moonjump and then you do Revali's gale which will make you glide (which you can't do with moonwalk normally) and then just before you land, attack with a double handed weapon. You will start sliding on the floor as soon as you touch the ground. It dodges most walls and i am yet to find out if you can align it perfectly to cross the entirety of Hyrule. I call it "The Lawnmower Glitch"!

@@swipethedark8272 You can just use a tripod (or setup stuff to hold the phone still, like I do), and record your screen with your phone. It's not as clean as a capture card, but it works and you can record for as long as you want to.

23:24 i have a theory on how that glitch is happening. i think it's because of floating point numbers.
because the way they work is that the smaller the integer part of the number the larger the decimal part (ie it's more accurate due to having more decimal places), but if the interger part gets larger the decimal part has to get smaller... so the more you fall the less accurate the floats become so links model gets stretched because points in the model get rounded to the nearest coordinate.
better explaination of floats:
imagine you had a limited amount of digits (lets say 10), and where the decimal point is depens on how large the number is. so if it's between 0 and 1 the decimal point can be almost completely to the left
0.000000000
meaning you got a lot of decimal places for very small and accurate numbers.
but if the number is larger than 1000 for example you get fewer digits on the right of the decimal point, so numbers are less accurate.

and if you go far enough you don't even have any digits left for the decimal points, so you can't even do any fractions anymore, so all numbers get rounded to the nearest whole number.

Meanwhile, the alien game called Twilight Princess for the Gamecube basically lacks glitches, *It is so polished that it is speedrunners proof* , the only Zelda game that has the longest speedrun time because the game is extremely well coded.
BotW is also well-coded, it just so happens that game mechanics are made to be used in unintended ways. TP doesn't have nearly the same creative freedom as BotW.

I think you should have showed off the “Fosbury Flop”glitch. It’s really simple. You shield surf, press y to spin, press x to jump, then one frame later, unequip your shield.

In the kah okeo shrine, there is an area where you have to you your bombs to blow open some rocks, however if you use bomb arrows while you are next to the rocks, you will explode and fall into the abyss, a cutscene will trigger and then when you spawn back up you will be on top of the shrub out of bound, to which you can jump off into the abyss forever
