In this video I’ll take you through the steps of bringing to life your own reversible, padded vest. Find tips on how to customise it to suit your body and style with the DIY self drafting process.

Suggested Fabric Amount Required PER LAYER:
Size Extra Small = 0.9m (off the roll)
Size Small = 1m (off the roll)
Size Medium = 1.1m (off the roll)
Size Large = 1.2m (off the roll)
Size Extra Large = 1.3m (off the roll)
(add or take 0.1 metres for anything larger or smaller than these sizes)
NOTE: These measurements are based on buying 'off the roll' which is approx 1.4m wide.
Suggested Bias Binding Amount Required:
-XXS: 4m
XS-M: 5m
M-XL: 6m
XXL+: 7m

Can I ask why you didn’t use the binding on the armholes? I’m new to sewing and wanna make sure I didn’t miss something ! 🙈
I did use bias binding on the armholes, I just had to switch to a different colour and maybe didn't mention to repeat the process around the main part of the vest for the armholes. It's the exact same steps, just for a smaller area :)
