Hello, Katharine.😊 What I find typical British is No.2, 4 and 8. No.2 sounds like a kind of ironical expressions. No.4 sounds much better than just saying I don't like x, y and z. No.8 does sound polite, which I think really useful. To me, No.5 sounds like an excuse a little bit.
What impresses me is that your examples and episodes do help us make sense of what the idioms mean. I have to say, your channel is absolutely legit.
