There was a cafe in Newcastle's Grainger Market that was literally sad (there was a 70s band called Sad Cafe, lol), where people would sit with their tea/coffee and just people watch without saying a word. But sitting there was somehow therapeutic and relaxing. 'Peggy and Omlette', lol. Another great video 👌

Dear Kate, we need more daily English please. For example, dialogue of customer and employer on how to order coffee, food at the cafe/restaurant in the RP English please. Please use RP English in the dialogue in order to attract more viewers who is also interested in the accent reduction.

I'm such a nerd. I remember talking to one of my colleagues the other day. She was really stressed out about getting a new car and said 'if push comes to shove'... in my head I was already analysing it. Good job my colleagues don't realise I focus a lot on the language they use and make notes in my head. They'd think I'm weird 😅

Hi Katharine, I liked a lot this video, as you mentioned this is everyday english so is really helpful. BTW, about suggestions for video have you considered to join both your two passions, teaching english and playing the piano? I think it would be so good to ear you playing and singing shorts of some classical english songs! Also the trivial topics like travelling in the UK but with real spoken english would be good
