You’re a beautiful person. Thank you. I just learned I have Trigeminal Neuralgia, and it seems like a rough road may be ahead, but I’m hopeful I can find joy and some calm.

I was misdiagnosed for 5 years. I had pain in my right hip and it was shooting down my leg. They treated me for compressed vertebrae but after 5 years of intense pain I demanded a MRI on my hip and turned out my Labrum had been destroyed by genetic bone spur. Had replacement and now have my life back. Glad I didn’t just accept the many doctors diagnosis of arthritis to nerve damage.

This Man Dr Shim is incredible! He sees the Big picture and above all is truly Ethical by sharing information/education. I live in the states and have been told for 20 years that surgery was inevitable. I was preparing for surgery when I by Great Fortune I clicked on this channel. And now I know I may be able to avoid a very scary cervical disc replacement.

I spend a lot of time watching random videos on CZcams. Never commented on any until now.
This is one of the most straightforward and powerful messages I’ve received from any content on here. Maybe it’s because of the condition I’m currently in with with the most debilitating back injury (severely herniated disc) I’ve had in my life, but this video hit me differently.
Thanks doc. Please keep creating more content.

    Thank you, Dr Shim.
    This video is so inspiring.
I’m 44 ,fairly healthy In my life until 6 month ago I started experiencing bad sciatica symptoms. The mri 3 month later showed a large herniated disk compressing the nerve with multilevel disk degeneration. Symptoms include burning shooting acute pinching tingling pain and numbness.
Besides physical pain, In this time, I started having anxieties and depression. I can’t sleep.
I got surgery done a week ago after tried everything that didn’t help and hopefully get recovered soon.
Now I know I have to admit aging and injuries do happen.

Hey I was just going to ask you what finally made you get the surgery because I'm 24 and I have a large herniated disc in my lower back and I've had it for about two and a half years and I've had on and off pain but the last few days has been really bad and I'm contemplating getting surgery but do you think it's worth it
