Totally agree, Glenn. I rediscovered the song after she did a carpool karaoke type thing with one of the Rotterdam 2021 hosts and it’s absolutely glorious. The chorus, the middle eight and the backing vocals are superb. So well written.
Absolutely her voice was changed but she still performs the song in a charmingly stable and accurate.
