Yea 215hp but also 295lb ft of torque from this car, combined with 7 speed DSG and quattro...poor Focus ST :D Maybe retry with better tyres and use the rpms more? :) Even a stage 1 remap would yield about 300lb ft torque, or more...

i have a a4 b9 3.0 tdi 218bhp i tuned it to stage 1 and it went up to 321bhp with 541nm torque! its a beast now
Gearbox okay with that torque ? Is is the s tronic ? What’s the reliability like on these cars ?

Audi has a great reputation for producing awesome cars from there top of the range to family cars and you have one of them, yes its a 3ltr 4wd but I wouldn't mind one that's for sure.
Hopefully, you will decide to push your RS but can appreciate your apprehensive to but I reckon it can take it

Had a lad in an ST all up in my grill going down an A road. Pulled off the slip, lad pulled up & asked me what I’d done to it as he was struggling to keep up at 120 😂

Launch control should be traction off, sport mode, brake pedal pushed right till end and the gas pedal right to end then just let go of brake.
That’s what I did on the last run - hooked up much better!👌🏻
I've got this exact same A4 - when you say sleeper I can relate. I've been racing GTD'S, Leon FR's and beat them every time 😂 and I've got the bog standard Sport (dad car edition). It's a buzz when you see the reaction on the faces of people who think it's a slow dad car 😂😂😂😂. The best one is when someone tries undertaking you, flip it down into sport and wave goodbye 😂

I've a saloon b9, 3.0tdi quattro sport...cloth seat sleeper edition also. Just wish I was a better driver TBH 😂

Yes standard RS is 5.9 - I’m a little reluctant to launch my RS though as I don’t want to break it 😂🙈

@@Holdeenio we’ve done a few long runs in it as it’s used for holidays etc in the UK. I don’t do too many miles for the commute and I use the ST for those 😁
Getting a 2016 272 hp version tomorrow. Takes 1 second off as stock version goes. Stage one would push it under 5 sec for sure. That is one boring sleeper!

See you say boring audi but i think the mk2 focus is one of the most boring cars on the road. I hated mine doesn't matter what variant you have lol
The Mk2 ST is completely different to the lesser models of mk2 focus
What mk2 Focus did you have? The Focus ST was one of the most fun hot hatches at launch and has a great engine and chassis with a very adjustable and mobile rear end. Only the R26 was a better hot hatch in 2006.
Granted the boggo Mk2’s were dull but ST / RS are very good fun! The RS is a beast 👌🏻
With a remap and better tyres on the ST I predict it will beat the Audi.
Probably be much closer! But with a remap the Audi would be so fast!haha
@@CarFocused The stock ST is de-tuned though. It needs a remap to produce what it should've from the factory. Give it a chance against modern cars and remap it. 👍
@@eddiec438 to be honest mate I might not keep it for much longer with fuel prices sky rocketing. It’s starting to become quite pricey to run everyday. Prices have gone up almost 40 pence per litre since I bought it!
@@CarFocused That'd be a shame. I'm lucky that I now WFH so dont do much mileage in mine any more.... just nip out to the shops and a blast on the country lanes.
