Ever since Ngannou crossed Dana Chael has been trying to crush him, I think Dana is paying him a little extra, it often makes no sense.

I like Chael, I have been following him for years. Is it me or his videos now are more about he said/she said, more about the thought process, and less about actual fighter skills, fight reviews, and overall, he seems always angry. Am I wrong? I remember laughing a lot with his stories in this channel and his thoughts on fights and fighters. Now he seems more serious "deep". I still watch lol, just asking for opinions.

Wrong. It’s obvious the UFC is the one behind all the big names having huge breaks in between their fights. It looks like they don’t want to stack cards for or have big cards during summer for whatever reason. No other reason Colby, Leon, Islam, Jones, Stipe, Conor, Chimaev, etc would coincidentally not want to fight this summer or early fall.

I can see someone who is sick as hell by just hearing about this breaking news.
i can give you a little bit of a backstory on this situation, Dana White found out about negotiations on the ngannou vs fury and thats when you can see Dana at a press conference challenging Fury for jones, Dana said "quote" Tyson Fury, if you want to fight the baddest man on the planet, fight jon jones. Dana actively attempted to derail that fury vs nganou fight. as we all know, Dana White failed, when he realized he failed he released jones vs miocic ... he never wanted nganou to leave the UFC and he SURE in the hell didnt want him fighting fury.... messy behind the scenes on this one... thats the real story, I am not a youtuber and certainly not a very good story teller, but Chael, that is the real story, you should do the backstory on that....

I have not sen a UFC fight in over 6 years. I turned off my TV service about 12 years ago so it could not destroy my IQ, and used to watch them at a Buffalo Wild Wings In Grand Rapids Michigan, (which would pack the place). But I moved from there to rural Michigan (for the same reason basically), and have not been able to see any fights anywhere, or on YT. I dig the sport, but I don't even know who the big names are anymore. If you are smart enough to turn off your TV service, the sport pretty much does not exist for rural USA.

Real boxing fans know that Fury and Usyk is the only fight in heavy weight boxing that matters…
Meanwhile Dana keeps pumping up the lower weight classes with new blood and we got 4 absent legends, 2 one trick ponies and 3 banged up old guys in heavyweight
The thing is I just don't think there's an enormous talent pool in heavyweight MMA in general. Even if we look at ONEFC or Bellator there's not a whole lot going on there either.
The fighters in that weight class do tend to fight into their older years but you never really see any actually young guys in there at the higher levels

@@keldonb2240 oh definitely, I mean those are at the end of the day more popular and profitable sports for arguably less long term damage to the body. I mean rugby and American football have the CTE argument but aside from that. To do those sports it's generally more beneficial to be bigger.
