Shane has talked more in this one show than he has in ten years in V8 super cars.
Agree
Ha ha 🇳🇿
Never been a nascar fan but always followed SVG racing, Now he's gone to nascar DAM this is good stuff!! Bump and grind xfinity is awesome we get the meat on the grill and watch some top racing!!! SO COOL THANKS!! From westcoast ,South Island, New Zealand 🇳🇿 Sweetaz Bro.
Sunday mornings are stacked now with Xfinity followed by Supercross bloody good
NZ represent .. Auckland ...Go SVG 🙂
@pagey007 SVG Lawson Mad Mike and Nick Cassidy.. Auckland producing some talented drivers, for a city with shit roads 😂😂
I agree with you on how much im now invested in Nascar and SVG is the entire reason for it im a huge fan of the kiwi monster as soon as he came over here to Australia and started racing in the V8 Super cars he showed how Aggressive and switched on he was and as he got in better teams and faster cars he left everyone in his wake. Fingers crossed he gets a fair go in Nascar because its catch and kill your own racing over there and they make a little mistake and a pack of cars will pass you its so close the racing. Lets go the KIWI Champion 💪👍😉
I don't watch much USA racing, looking forward to watching him at Watkins tho (Sept 15).
His a lot more comfortable in front of the cameras up there. Heard more words from him in this single interview vs his entire time in V8s.
I'll say one thing for the guy, hes quite a breath of fresh air. I cant even comprehend jumping into a car thats set up totally opposite to everything I know. Just the thought of changing gears with the opposite hand....I'm almost certain that if that was me, as soon as the pressure came on Id be upshifting when I should be downshifting etc. He's a wheelman for sure.
💯 he can and does race anything
SVG is the driver NASCAR , journalists and podcast interviewers never knew they needed.
Fascinating analysis and discussion.. great podcast and SVG is so articulate and a born racer that's great for the sport of Nascar
I've never much been into Nascar unitl SVG went over to join you guys. Its been facinating learning about it through him and podcasts like this. I'm really starting to get into it.
Dude you all are so cool together! The 3 of you sounds like old hommies just talking about racing. Loved how Corey is so open with advice to Shane! #97 go baby go!!
Love your chats with SVG lads! It is really the only way we ANZACS can learn the differences from Supercars and watch the races with knowledge.
He’s a lot more animated and explanatory over there don’t you think?
@@daveweller9550 supercars aren't going to penalise him for speaking his mind anymore.
@@AWSgraphics the questions are decent, as is the racing.
Shane's tussle with Kyle was awesome to watch, made me a larson fan too
This is a really great podcast guys. Keep up the great work! 😊
Hello from NZ ,, Awesome Channel , Real racers , Great insight , subbed ... 🙂
Go hard Shane VG respect, your greatest fan in Australia 🇦🇺
Get ready to write his name correctly on all the trophies !
Thank you, it is so good to see that huge smile on Shane's face. Keep it up.
Perfect Lagano impression 😂😂
We all miss Shane in Aus, but awesome to see how good he’s doing
Loved this chat ! Thanks guys
Love svg
Of all the drivers that came into NASCAR, hes the only one I want to win.I know he lucked up at Chicago but I wanna see him win a oval.
Hes just down to earth
Of course it's good to have a responsive, intelligent guy like S.V.G, to interview, but you two make a great show. I'm not entirely new to Nascar, and certainly not to my countryman, Shane, but I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this session. Go Nascar !!
“Just go up to him, shake his hand, see what happens.”
This smooth character Mark-Martinesque kind of ‘respect’ is something NASCAR needs more of… wrecks in racing are going to happen but “taking people out” isn’t racing. And no, I wasn’t a Sr fan…
one of the BEST podcast/youtube i have watched great job!
Thanks Cory, you’re a cool guy
Fabulous.
Racing should be on the track and track limit should be enforced. None of this cutting corners or running wide.
It's the same for everyone, let them go. That and the taps makes it different from from every other sanitised race category
It’s entertaining, leave it as it is. For track limits, watch F1.
SVG is the fairest driver you will see he loves close driving but if you want to be dirty with him he will give back.
seems like shane loves peace which is great to hear, after the cota incident they talked with austin and seems like shane has moved on even after corey tried to bring it back up 💯
Repeat of yesterday's podcast 😢 We are full on SVG supporters🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿, but nascar really you need to do this 🤔
They should interview Craig Baird , long career and now the driving standards police we have in Oz , him and SVG would be awesome
Hell yeah boa. SVG is that dawg.
Anyways Hill lost about %15 of his fanbase driving SVG like a 17 year old who just got his license.
To quote Kevin harvick “he’s got that dog in him”
Also svg does drive a like jerk. He ran aj and ty off the road. People are acting like he is a clean driver not so much
@dedo7326 yeah SVG is aggressive but he doesn't get out the car and be like "WTF?"
@@dedo7326he didn’t always race like that.
@@dedo7326he held them out wide, he didn’t run them off the road. Austin Hill ran SVG off the road. There is a difference.
GOOD LUCK SHANE you are a genius
1 foot high 45° wall on the inside of the curbs!!
Hill ruined a very good race
As much as I would've loved to see SVG win. Hill didn't do anything that any other Xfinity driver wouldn't do, he actually did it pretty fairly, bump SVG out the way, then run for your life, brakes early when SVG gets to him, trying to control the collision, didn't quite work out, but ended up 2nd anyway. I'm sure he would've taken that in a heartbeat going into the race. The carry on after the flag was stupid and undid all the good work.
@@astonwards7236 I actually agree with you about the move. However, it still absolutely ruined a really good race.
@@dewbee7985
The TV coverage was rubbish on the last few laps they were terrible at capturing the key moments I think
@@dewbee7985 Yeah, it was just terrible timing for a yellow, you kinda knew there would be more yellows, but it would've been a brave move to pit from the lead to get fresh tyres.
I don't blame Hill for ruining the race, it was just unfortunate circumstances, definitely looking forward to more road courses.
Go svg ❤️👍
COTA could use the sensors as they use in MotoGP to police the track limits as they have the infrastructure and means to do that. Overall COTA was very nice as it was ran and refreshing. Good old fashioned hard racing :)
Ask him which car he'd rather drive, and I bet he says "an Aussie Supercar." I think the Supercars look much nicer and for sure drive better.
I feel like the Next-Gen requiring negative rake to make the flat bottom work attributes to some of these issues with its behavior. It’s like the mechanical and aero are fighting against each other all the time. High speed it wants to loop itself, low speed it can’t cut at all and sits falling over its own ass on exit. Idk we ramblin today
If NASCAR does track limits in one corner they should be in all corners and tracks for that matter
You gotta get him out to Bowman Gray for a good ol Donnybrook. Might even get to see a race!
The track limits were non existent!
Is the way he describes what the car is doing and how he has to drive it reasonably standard across all the drivers, or does his “out of town” view give a different angle?
Absolutely sure it’s a different angle. NASCAR teams spend a ton of time on strategy, a winning car, being competitive- all good things- but Shane seems to be less concerned about those things, like he doesn’t want to drive junk but he just wants a car that’s predictable and he’s gonna make it work. Such a good attitude imho
GET THA DOGGZ!
what was wrong with "20, 13"?
nascar racing would be better quality with better and more consistent track limits
Since NASCAR races are longer and more tiring has SVG changed his workout routine to increase his stamina and overall conditioning ?
Bathurst would be one of if not the most gruelling race in the world
I hate COTA with a passion. It’s a terrible track. Corners with miles of runoff so there’s no penalty for error. So if you’re precise and drive/ride well, there’s no benefit. It’s like racing on a sim track made real - no consequences (apart from ridiculous after race penalties). As a racetrack it’s inferior to most of the other road courses like Sonoma, Watkins and RA where precision and car control are paramount. As a MotoGP track goes, it is truly uninteresting.
Please be a regular guest! The chemistry here is the best I’ve seen since SVG started appearing in NASCAR podcasts
Boring racing
S V GEEEEE!!! another aussie convert here to Nascar
New Zealand bud
@@stevegreaves2378 haha I was referring to myself mate. Another Aussie now watching NASCAR
@@stevegreaves2378😂😂😂😂😂 come now SVG is Aussie same as pavalova 😂😂😂😂😂
