All this shit is peak Woz but one is only allowed to experience the story in proper order else I come into their house at night and beat them with a comically large bottle of Pepto-Bismol and change their entire game collection into copies of Madden 09.
An example of "same name, different game" that I have is "Ratchet & Clank (2002)" and "Ratchet & Clank (2016)".
While they both part of the same franchise, they are completely different gameplay wise. (Even though the 2016 game was a reimagining of the 2002 game.)
The next episode I would recommend would be Game Stores. The lore must be started.

3:22 Lylat is the star system that Star Fox takes place in. I have played a few levels of the original Nintendo Star Fox, a few levels of Star Fox 64, but most of my time was spent on rentals of the last two GameCube Star Foxes before the series went on hiatus. I know I beat one, possibly both of them. I really need to pick up copies of those for the collection...
There are 6 standard (vehicular combat) Nintendo Star Fox games and 2 weird ones, a tower defense game released alongside the latest produced (but not released) game, and a 3D platformer Rare made that got shoehorned into being a Star Fox game.

I actually got my start on the Final Fantasy series with US II and III by renting from my local mom and pop rental place (RIP Sunset Video) before later picking up X for PS2 and getting to the end game. Never played VII.

Scott isn't wrong about the PSP being basically a PlayStation 2 (minus a second analog stick). There are a few examples of PSP games getting more or less straight ports on the PS2, GTA: Liberty City Stories and GTA: Vice City Stories being prime examples.
What with PSP and the Wii both being seventh generation systems with about the same processing power as the PS2, porting games from those two systems added years to the PS2's lifecycle. It wasn't discontinued until 2013, 13 years after it released. The last officially licensed game for it was PES 2014.
The PSP had a media format unique to it, Universal Media Discs, or UMDs. They were basically small optical discs in a plastic shell. A ton of movies at the time also got released as UMDs so you could watch movies on the go.
You are correct, the N-Gage was a Nokia product that was half video game portable half cell phone.
Spider-Man 3 was indeed Tobey McGuire. Of the Tobey trilogy I think I only saw 2 all the way through.
I have copies of 4 RE4. Original for One, Remake for Series X, original on Wii, and original on PS2. I need a copy for the 360 though.

Regarding Madden 08 console, that model of 360 had switchable front plate. I don't know if that's an officially made one or one Scott had made because of his love for Madden 08.

It had a UMD drive, not a DVD drive.
The first example I've seen of this was Home Alone and Home Alone 2, the Sega Genesis and SNES versions were completely different. The Genesis version sticks closer to the movie, setting up traps to defend against robbers. The SNES version is more of a generic platformer, but it's way more easier to understand what to do
I loved playing Over the Hedge on my PS2 as a kid.
