- Ireland winger Dave Kearney dislocated his finger during the quarter final game against Argentina at the Rugby World Cup 2015, having it casually snapped back into place by a medic.

@Will Ayres. Nah, unless it's a Goalkeeper, they will keep playing. Even goalkeepers will switch positions if there are no more substitutions.
Footballers sometimes, might exaggerate harm from kicks to get opponent cautioned (Neymar constantly joked) , but reason is simple a broken leg and you are out for the season... In this case Football is more though than Rugby. Because lower limbs have less protection. What is the risk of Rugby. Crack the forehead skin? News for you: Happens all the time in Football: Messi,Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar etc. They have all gotten stitched(stapled) up , and continued playing. So no joke on Footballers they are tough, (they just have to worry about their legs ,more than any other sport ).

by far the biggest blow to Trimby's career. Literally got Ireland himself to 6N champs '14 in Paris with that playmaking menace. Held him back till days before WC after all that, schemed a 7-try drubbing of Wales.
