  • Steve, with his unwavering determination and resourcefulness, exemplifies the best way to drill holes for fence posts in rocky ground. Instead of being discouraged by the challenging terrain, Steve approaches the task with a keen eye for problem-solving. Armed with the right tools and a patient mindset, he carefully studies the rock formations and assesses the composition of the soil. Drawing from his experience, Steve adapts his drilling technique, using specialized drill bits designed to tackle rocky surfaces effectively. Moreover, he acknowledges that rushing the process might lead to errors or damaged equipment, so he remains composed and takes his time, ensuring each hole is precisely crafted for a secure and sturdy fence. Steve's approach teaches us that when faced with obstacles, embracing ingenuity, patience, and attentiveness to the environment can lead to successful outcomes, inspiring us to overcome challenges in all aspects of life.

I think that would work very effectively in the hard clay soil in Thailand.

I need to catch up on Steve’s videos. I’m still super interested in testing any interesting tailings anyone comes across while out hiking. I’m working on a non-toxic sample leeching method using Eco Goldex that hopefully will speed things up. Dissolving in aqua regea is a drag😵‍💫.

I’m interested in palladium and platinum, which I’m set up for( and of course gold, silver, copper, iron, lead and the other easy ones).I would like to add ruthenium in the future. My theory is these were mostly ignored or discarded before the 1960’s or even 70s.

We see so many tailing piles, some with descent galena specimens right on the surface. I even found leftover coal- I assume, used by the workers.

@@AnythingOutdoorswithSteve All I need is about 50ml. I’m really interested in talking more about this. Let me get off my ass and run a few trials first.
