I found the Winns while in the VA Hospital with lymphoma. Then I found SV Delos too. Between the two I didn't spend much time in my body suffering. I was on board, smelling the salt air and feeling the prickles of sweat bead on my brow as the wind whistles in my ears and the sun stings my skin🚢🌴🏝️ ⛵🙋💙 may you heal in body and soul.

If you can find Mariner's Cave, it's well worth it. You dive down through the opening and come up into an open cavern. The rising water from the swell creates a fog chamber. It's near Swallow's cave, if I remember right. But that was 43 years ago.

I was in Tonga on our family’s 32’ Coronado back in 2008-2009. We went to this same anchorage and explored that cave too! Right where you turn the corner to see the cave we experienced our first know-down, the wind can really funnel through there! It’s been really fun to re-explore all these places through your lens and see how much has (and hasn’t) changed in the islands. Fair winds and following seas Wynns!

when removing the husk off the coconut, we used to hold the coconut upright and hit the husk with the curved portion of the blade and then immediately twist the knife to the right or left. Then continue to do it again until you have removed the entire husk. Try it, we had a very young boy stop us once when we were in Vietnam in 1965 and he showed us the correct way to do it. When you get used to it, it really goes quick. Goog luck.

Tip Jason: The introduction of White horses on the waves means 10-12 knots...when they are everywhere = 20-25kts. When wind chop waves reach meter in size you've got 50+kts.
Oh check the Z-Crew episodes recently. They dived there 6months ago I believe.

Oh. This video was so relaxing. I hurt my knee a few days ago and this provided a welcome mental break. Loved the tiny crab!

Another great Wynnsday to wake up and travel to the middle of the Pacific. Shipping there is slow, but how about shipping me one of those coconuts?

You guys have no idea how much these clips of tonga make me happy! I grew up in vava'u. My parents owned marcella's resort and then owned treasure island (eueiki) but sold everything to move back to germany. Sadly.
seeing your videos and how you admire literally everything makes me so happy and sad at the same time because im not experiencing any of it except over a video.
'Ofa atu to you both and mālo aupito for being such authentic people.
