I was on an 802 recently and just north of Dawlish as it was going round the sharpish corner there was a juddering sound which stopped when the track was straighter. I like the trains but they are not as suitable for long journeys as many in continental europe that are comfortable and have a buffet car and many of these are loco hauled and can do 125 mph.
Just saying GWR I was on a 10 car IET from Swindon to Bristol and I had to sit on the floor with my friends it’s such a crap train the trolley service took forever and honestly it’s the worst experience on any train I’ve ever been on yes it looks nice and all but it’s not comfortable, too cramped and crowded, legit no space, rubbish trolley service, first class is absolutely rubbish compared to the HST first class, noisy as a plane on diesel and are just boring to look at I absolutely hate class 800s compared to the HSTs they look great, comfortable and everything! Please replace these ASAP or at least refurbish them because I would rather get a taxi to Swindon from Bristol than on this thing. And yes my profile picture is an IET bc there wasn’t any other GWR train from the selection of pictures

They are not as noisy as a plane, and you clearly have no valid reasons to make other than the fact that you either think that you A. Are the only person on the planet B. Every service is crowded. Get the facts and figures right.
I can't agree with your comments there. I suggest you take a longer ride on the comfort side of things. Apart from anything else, the ride quality is poor and highlights how bad the track maintenance is on the GWML. If anything, the HST's with their excellent suspension covered up most of those flaws. However, the one thing that has surprised me is how quiet the diesel motor coaches are when they are running. I think the lighting needs to be turned down a notch.

I have been on the new high speed trains a few times and I have to say they really comfortable and have a lot of space
