- This is a re-posting and combination of the two Lin-Manuel Miranda/Leslie Odom, Jr. duets ("No More" and "Real Life," the latter with Karen Olivo) from the Encores! production of "Tick, Tick...Boom!," June 2014. These clips should look better here than they did when they were first posted in June 2016, as they are now in the original HD 1080p 16:9.

It's too 'cringey' according to the people who don't like it, which is fair enough ig to each their own and that, however that shouldn't stop us from enjoying it, musical theatre is just too timeless.
I’ve asked a friend why and he said he gets like “secondhand embarrassment” when people are just singing at you lol. It’s a stupid reason but it’s valid I guess.

I ended up here after looking for more stuff about Tick Tick Boom after watching the film directed by Lin.
I'm also a big fan of Leslie (because of Hamilton)
I also liked the performance of this song from the movie. There's so many connections and that is what makes this video so special.

I think the difference between the movie and the stage is that the movie is really trying to re-create Jonathan's life , where as I find the stage production is about a songwriter named Jonathan struggling to make it.
That's because the film is trying to honour Jonathan whereas because Johnathan wrote this musical and starred as himself of course, it was more about him and his struggles

Oof. Sorry, but Leslie Odom is totally flat in this. He has great energy, but his voice just isn't working in "No More".
I feel like the speaker isn't picking up the sound properly when they are moving around. I hear that often when I listen to re-recorded vocals.
That makes more sense than this insanely talented singer who absolutely nailed every note in the second part of the clip forgot how to sing on pitch the first half of the clip.
