    I have stated many times before, Mike has never received the accord as a singer, song writer, keyboardist that he richly deserves. Of all the lads in the band he is my favorite !!

      I always thought the band after Pinder should have been called Blue Jays and Friends... or something like that. Great music no doubt, but not the Moody Blues without Mike.

      i completely agree,,,,firstt few after he left were still good,,,but after that the albums were just not the same

      Agreed. Without Mike the group stagnated, Justin got too treacly, John got too repetitive, Ray faded away, Graeme got stuck in a rut.

      Mike is definitely my favorite as well. I went so far as to make a seperate cd with only his songs.

      Sure he did. He turned The Beatles on to the Mellotron

    In Search of the Lost Chord is my favourite Moodies album as well. In fact, I consider it to be in the top 5 best psychedelic records of the decade.

      Have you ever wondered how acts like Joan Jett got in the R&R HOF ahead of them?

      check out the group OM" Gethsemane" video a...its very DEEP...and for sheer rocking FUN...check out Ted Nugents"Journey to the Center of your Mind" at the 1987 New Years Eve "Whiplash Bash" concert....funny he said that he never did a drug of any kind...I guess he was naturally "high"!!!! what a character he was(and still IS!)

    You make the music dance with the visual. BIG fan of your work. When I was 15 we made a strobe light out of cardboard with a hole in it and an old fan. Colored drops on the overhead projectors. Man things have changed. We are the lucky ones to have you share your love of music and art with us. Peace. Joanne

    What a work of art you've created here! Mesmerizing and haunting, yet soothing all at the same time. Love this song- and the Moodies- so much! Peace to you all, Deb(formerly moodygirl67) 7/13/19

      This is a great video for folks who never did acid but wonder what it is like(to a point ha ha..) without experiencing the potentially harmful side effects...well done this takes you on a "trip" without the use of drugs...interesting concept!

    We are Soooooooooooooooo much more than what most people THINK we are.....Blessed are those few who are AWAKE in this life...most of us are still sleeping in the ILLUSION of this Earth life...This PLAY were in...they've FORGOTTEN who/what they really are...a person needs a new experience(LSD DMT Ayahusca plant deep meditation OBE NDE etc...)...they draw something DEEP inside us, allowing us to GROW spiritually....without CHANGE, something sleeps within us, and seldom awakens....the SLEEPER must AWAKEN!...after all..thats what were here for in the 1st place...did you ever wonder ...why you are here on Earth? the 2 most important days of your life are the day you were born,and the day you find out WHY....good luck figuring it all out...you are the "Crown of Creation" and you should be smarter than the animals that we evolved from...if your an intelligent, thoughtful human(and very lucky!) you'll figure it all out before you leave your body

    Nice remix and a visual delight. To think we only had black light strobes. I have no idea how the psychedelic images were mixed and projected on the walls in clubs back in the day. Curious to know… anyone?

    I don't know how Joan Jett was inducted into the R&R HOF ahead of the Moody Blues.
    Not knocking her, but her body of work cannot compare to theirs.

    • @mustangmikep51
      @mustangmikep51 Před 2 lety +2

      their body of work transcends ANY other groups body of work...Long live the wonderful Moodies in our hearts and minds! their music + message transcends space and time itself! their spiritual + uplifting VIBE is immortal and has no earthly limits...TRUTH never changes... its ABSOLUTE..its not of this dualistic world we live in (relatively speaking that is... lol)
