Mars is a dead planet. There is nothing except a secret underground Gray base, a hangar for flying saucer ships. I took my son inside this base. There are more than 50 robots inside. The internal scanner system detected my son's presence as a heat spot. He came out like a bolt of lightning. It was only weeks later that the Grays identified that it was my son, and came after him with 3 ships. The Grays even scanned my son's brain. I took my son to the planet Venus, he saw the big and beautiful golden city of Venus with its majestic population. I can take a person to any planet in the solar system.

Humans are such interesting creatures, I realized just now, when I found myself feeling sad about the pet rock's journey finally ending. I was out here really just personifying and getting attached to a martian rock so far away from me that I can't fully even comprehend the scale- just because it sat in tye wheel of a rover for so long that many people including myself started to see it almost as an unexpected companion rather than just a mildly inconvenient but overall harmless hitchhiker. It's kind of similar to how we have such a strong urge to pet everything with fur that moves, even if it could snap our bones in half with one bite. I imagine aliens probably would find these things both interesting, but also mildly horrifying because of how we could end up endangering ourselves just to boop a lion or something.
If they can get the coordinates of the pet rock, Presevarance and it's pet rock could be in the future museum of mars as early explorers.

Plot twist: the pet rock will consider itself a member of the first nation and will sue Perserverance aka Columbus, so I hope the robot crushes the pet rock with its tank wheels before taking off leaving no evidence.

many of the rocks and boulders look similar to the area where I live. Lots of glaciers caused the rocks to be the shape and way they are. Maybe Mars once to had a great Ice Age?
Could make sense, maybe as mars’ core cooled, just before it’s magnetosphere became too weak to keep water in liquid form, it had a small ice age before then rapidly heating up from the shrinking magnetosphere

When the rock had made its way into the wheel of the rover, I was a bit annoyed and hoped that it would fall off soon. But now, I genuinely feel bad when it fell off due to sand. I really miss it lol. Its kinda funny that how humans can get attached to non-living entities and show feelings for it.

I wish we could know everything. Any time I watch these videos, I tend to think about how I’ll never live to see and understand the entire universe. It’s incredibly sad knowing that. Hopefully humankind can keep each other alive long enough so a future generation does.

I remember watching the coverage of the moon landings. They were amazing. I hope to see humans returning to the moon and landing on Mars.
This is a question for anybody. Even if we don't know the answer it is something to think about.
At 2:20 we discuss the "Pine Stand" rock formation that looks like it was created by flowing water and it poses the question as to how can it be so high? (Sol 718). At 2:56 we discuss the "Sprinkle haven" feature, also created by flowing water (Sol 721). Now compare 7:56 when Perseverance has made it to the edge of Belva Crater (Sol 772) and we can see what appears to be similar banded rock on the far side.
So here is my question about all this. Timing. When do we believe the impact event occurred which created Belva Crater, relative to the flowing water? That is, had the massive water flow already been dried up for millions of years when the impact took place? If so, might that explain Pine Stand, if it was uplifted by force of the event? That seems to me to be the order of events as it would explain why the trail of water is separated by the crater. It would be interesting hear NASA's theories on the age of these events.

Mars is so interesting and is the only planet other than Earth where humans can live. Wish it was more Earth like. It's a perfectly good location for a life bearing planet but is too small to have a magnetic core for protection from the the Sun's radiation. It's kinda weird as planets usually get larger as their distance from the Sun increases.
