Hello and welcome to today’s CZcams episode.
On today’s sewing adventure I am embroidering dainty design onto a pair of VIVAIA Shoes and I have created a tutorial of this too. Thank you for watching, I hope you enjoy the episode. Let me know in the comments below what you think.
All the VIVAIA shoes and boots I am wearing in today’s episode have been gifted to me in in exchange for today’s CZcams clip.
The Aurifil threads I used for the embroidery have also been gifted to me as my role in the Aurifil Artisan Program. They are all 12WT threads.
The first part of the clip is looking at the shoes and boots.

The embroidery looks so beautiful.Will the embroidery affect the waterproof element of the shoes?I do know you can buy waterproof clear stick-on sheets to repair blow up swimming pools that could be placed on the underneath of the embroidery.However,I don't know if it would be suitable for a washing machine.

Thank you so much for your comment. I am not sure if the embroidery will effect the waterproof shoes? That is a very good question though. I will have to see and then maybe add one of the patches. Really good idea!

Wow this is cool. What is the name of the needle you used to thread 3 strands of thread through? I am trying to find the correct needle to try to embroider by hand or cross stitch.

Thank you for your comment! I have a pack of 'Clover Gold eye milliners needles in size 3, 5, 7 and 9. I am not sure if they are correct but they are good to work with and good to have the different sizes for different projects. I hope that helps.
